Yesterday, February 1, 2024, was my first time experiencing "Island Fusion Cusine," and it was the best Griot I ate from a haitian restaurant ever since my grandma can no longer cook anymore. Read moreI ordered diri ak pwa ak legim from Island Fusion Cuisine expecting authentic flavor and quality, but what I got was far from that. First off, the food was extremely salty—completely over-seasoned to the point of being inedible. To make it worse, instead of the diri ak pwa I requested, they gave me yellow rice without saying anything. The legim tasted old and stale, like it had been sitting for days.
When I brought the plate back to get it corrected, the woman working there just told me she didn’t have any other food—no apology, no refund, no solution. That’s just bad business and poor customer service.
Definitely won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, quality Haitian food.
