Hi! Usually I never give -ve feedback. I think this is my first. About food, food is not good, have more expertations on bawarchi. Because we had in so many branches before. One of my favorite restaurant in Indian cuisines. Food is not spicy. Coming to staff, not working good. Before taking order only they have to ask about spicy levels, they missed in it. I ordered, gongura biryani and dosa for kid, I mentioned it for kid get it early. After 30 mins, everyone getting their orders, who came next to us also. They’re finished also we didn’t get the order. I asked 3 persons who are serving there. They are not responding properly. After 35mins front desk office lady mentioned “we’re very sorry. We didn’t enter your order, it’s mistaken. U’ll get your order in 5 mins”. After 10 mins my Manchuria came. It’s good taste. Then I mentioned kid is feeling hungry please get dosa fast. After 10 mins. He brought gongura chicken curry some extra rice. We said we ordered biryani. We’re ready to leave after 55mins long wait. They guys requested so we waited another 10 mins. My biryani came. It was not good taste. Chicken was old. We left almost more than half. After 1 hr 15 mins the dosa came, it was crispy too hard. Kid reject to eat( its not restaurant problem). We have asked for tamato ketchup for almost 2 people twice. They’re saying will get it and they forgot. I said loudly why u guys are so irresponsible, then one guy came and said “sorry no ketchup “. Then I laughed. I don’t know how u guys are running your restaurant. U guys are taking off their brand. And please appoint good efficient and active staff. Food is not good. The 1 star for Manchuria.

Food not spicy not tasty Old chicken Poor service Inactive staff Too much waiting time

They gave 10% discount on bill also. We’re not satisfied with service food I gave it back. Please...

The experience during our last 2 visits was absolutely terrible. The first time they didn't have vegetable biriyani. Imagine that, a biriyani restaurant running out of vegetable biriyani.

On the 2nd visit I ordered goat masala and my wife ordered vegetable korma. My so called goat masala only had 4 pieces of goat and the rest was a thick sauce that had a bad after taste. My wife's order came out wrong.

The server, I believe her name was Manugna, didn't seem to care although she said she would bring the correct order. Her replacement still hadn't arrived even after I finished with my meal. We asked another server where the order was and she just said "it's coming" without even checking with the kitchen staff first. How did she know what the order was since she didn't take the order? Another 15 minutes go by and still the food hadn't arrived.

We asked Manugna about the order and she said it was ready. Well if it is ready why didn't she bring it out? Obviously, I'm not going into the kitchen to bring it out myself. Since we were seated near the kitchen, we could hear what was going on. The food wan't ready and the server had failed to inform the kitchen staff of the wrong order. We heard her order it at that time, about 30 minutes after it was first ordered. We decided to just leave and go elsewhere.

Simply unbelievable. There are plenty of biriyani options in Cincinnati. Definitely, won't be visiting Bawarchi again. Not worth the aggravation.

Update March 20, 2022: Note the response below from the owner. That should give you an idea of what to expect from the restaurant in terms of the service. It makes sense doesn't it? If the owner doesn't care about his/her customers then why should...

Absolutely disgusting and dirty Indian restaurant I had ever been to. When we arrived the lady at the counter pointed us to a table. We should have left right then for being rude but decided to stay. We couldn't see anything outside through the glass windows as it is smudged with fingerprints. All I could think about was where did those fingers went. Finally the dreadful lady arrived and she kept scratching her face while she took our order. We were really crreped out and just did not know what to do. We still decided to try something. She couldn't explain to us a lot of items listed on the menu. We stick to our usual took a masala and nan. The food was very bland. The chicken was not shredded but chunky pieces and the sauce was very bland. With so many good India restaurants, I never knew Indian restaurant would be this bad. We had different people bringing out our food. Not a friendly service but we were bit overwhelmed. , Finally after forcing ourselves some food instead of wasting our money, we used the restrooms. Absolutely filthy and pretty sure these are some of thr worst restrooms in Mason. Too grossed out to explain. I heard the men's restroom was disgusting as well We just decided to pay and leave immediately. Just stay away from this one. It's poorly managed and looks like it's run...

The worst place I’ve ever visited! If you want good food, buy from the frozen section like they served. We ordered tomato soup - it’s from the Knorr soup packets that you just mix with hot water and serve. You can get it for $2.99 at the Indian store for Rs. 140 in India (might be cheaper). Next we ordered the Onam special - spring rolls. They are from the frozen section of Costco. They are called Vegetable Edamame Spring rolls that are sold in the frozen section of Costco. Next we ordered dosas - the batter was old, because the dosas tasted sour. Only happens when batter is super old. The cheese dosa had no cheese and also - tasted sour sour kids couldn’t eat. Biriyani - too much masala, too little rice. They never asked us spice level, so it was super spicy. But it was the only thing that wasn’t from a frozen section or from a grocery store aisle. The food is super overpriced for what they are serving. Save your dollars and eat at home, or get from the frozen section from any grocery store. Pretty sure Trader Joe’s frozen food is better than the food here. Also can’t complain about the Costco spring rolls but I have the same box in my fridge that I bought 40 rolls for $7.99 and had to pay $9.99 (or similar) for just 6 rolls.

Bawarchi serves typically Indian food. Special Briyani was superb and portion is huge and can fill ones tummy Chicken karamKodi were Good, also there were a lot of chicken varieties which is too good try and the portions also is more for a single person. Superb Indian food, with nice ambience & very friendly customer service. Maintaining full hygiene for Covid-19 with safe distance seating arrangement. During this pandemic time, these people did their best to keep the place clean and safe for Customers to visit. They have always taken care of my bulk orders and the taste has always kept in Mind. They have always listen to my requirement and have prepared the order as per my requirements Food taste is awesome and yummy. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Their ambience is great. And, the hospitality and service are pretty good. The Naan are freshly prepared and are soft also. I recommended tandoori chicken We loved their food. We always get good customer service there. The place is well kept, and the front desk are always welcoming. Keep up the good work. We can even order from menu, Post my visit it was immediately added into my restaurant list for dinning out. I would give it 5 stars!

Average good, nice staff and okay service. We went for dinner on a weekday and ordered idli, plain dosa and chhole bhature. We had to wait 35 mins for our order even when the place was not crowded! In our order, only chhole bhature were good, although chhole gravy tasted like a paneer curry gravy, but overall it tasted fine! Idli and dosa were fine, but the sambhar and chutneys weren’t! Sambhar had too much garam masala in it, which you can taste in every bite. We also ordered veg chettinadu with roti and rice and the same thing happened with it. Veg had too much garam masala! They tried explaining (which was really considerate of them) that veg chettinadu is spicy, but spicy and extra garam masala are two different things. The staff was really good, they exchanged our curry to veg korma, which was the same with extra cream and uncooked veggies! I wanted to order more roti but then skipped that as the curry wasn’t that good! Overall, average food, but nice staff!
