Went to order a pick up to go meal. Just not a good visit. I have been going to Bob Evans for many years and have had good service and food. This time not so much. I gave it 3stars and not 2 only because I know this is not Bob Evans usual service. The lady was loud, asked me a question about my order and what I wanted, I didn’t understand the question she named off I guess sizes and when I tried to give her an answer she just kept on talking. I stood there waiting for 20 min for my food, they were not busy. Then someone else came up asked my name I answered she turned and my food had been setting on the shelf. I have now idea how long it had been setting there but I know I was not the only one that left there not happy. At one point some of the employees where in the back ( including the person that waited on me ) and you could hear them in the front, another employee went back and said something to them about how loud they were. I felt like I was in a bar and not a family restaurant. I could see other costumes and employees weren’t happy with how things were going. This person that waited on me and some others needs to be more quiet and have better customer service personality. This is not the typical way of the company and this is not the one I usually go to but have gone there a few times. I know they have redesigned the restaurants but I hope they don’t change their idea of how they are and correct this issue and stay family...
Read moreNew Review on 5/15/24: Ordered salad-soup and salad-sandwich combos for dinner and was very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. We had a similar good experience a few months ago. My only complaints were that there was very little salad dressing in the cups that were provided and the food was ready 15 minutes prior to the estimated time from the online order process. I expected our order to be ready early based on my prior online order, so I went to the restaurant as soon as I placed the order and waited only 5 minutes instead of 20 minutes. Had I arrived on time, our hot items would have been cold from sitting there 15 minutes. At least they have free WiFi available to pass the time.
Old Review from 2022: Went online Sunday around 5:15pm to place an order for takeout for dinner. Got all the way to checkout and selecting a pickup time when I discovered the pickup times started at 7:15am Monday. I then went to Google and learned this location closes at 4pm every day of the week per an update of store hours by the management a week ago. I checked all other Bob Evans stores in the area, and they close at 8 or 8:30pm.
Not sure how much longer this location can survive given their labor shortage and long-term poor service, which indicates the need for...
Read moreWe were very disappointed with the way the manager spoke to us and another party last night. When we arrive around 6pm there were approximately 16 diners and multiple open tables. A young lady told is our wait would be 5-10 minutes. We asked why we couldn’t be seated,, she scurried off somewhere, came back, and seated us and the party behind us. After taking our drink orders and the drink order of the other party, she delivered ours but not the other party’s. Soon after, the manager came out and loudly explained why we couldn’t be seated (they had many take out orders and wouldn’t be able to promptly serve us and would violate corporate policy). He also accused us of threatening the young lady, leaving everyone flabbergasted. That never happened. When my fellow diner explained that we wanted to be seated because of my 3.5 week old knee replacement he said there were chairs in the lobby. He was just rude. We both left the young lady more than a 20% tip. She seemed new to the job but the manager serves as a deterrent to future patronage. (The other party left because after waiting 30 minutes they never received service. There was never more than 16...
