Five Guys — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

I've been waiting for a new restaurant to open near DeKalb and I am glad Five Guys was one of them. As always, the burger and fries were great, especially their milkshakes which I always get. Although, the little fries were great, it seemed like it wasn't enough. They also tasted a little soggy and I finished it first before I was even halfway done with my burger. The burger on the other hand was great too. Grilled to perfection as always. The service and atmosphere of the place felt welcoming. Definitely coming back here in the future and then again after that. I just hope my fries aren't too soggy next time and I get a little...

The burgers, cajun fries and strawberry milkshake are all very good, but the price is just obscene. If I'm going to shell out steakhouse level money, I would rather just go to a steakhouse. Too many other burger joints that are a better value.

The serving size of the fries keeps shrinking. Throwing a half empty cup in the bag and placing a few fries in the bag loosely is not the same as ordering fries and getting the leftovers from the basket added to your bag like they used to do.

Never having whipped cream for the shakes because the employees have huffed all the cans like whippets is...

Good music, great vibes! I was greeted promptly by Darian and my order was take with ease! During my wait Darian came out to let me know it'll be a couple more minutes on the fries. Something that didn't need to be done but was VERY appreciated!! I sat down and relaxed on my phone.
