Smallcakes — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

While cupcakes look amazing, during a party I found a blonde-ish hair in one of them. I called and asked what could they do about it (as far as a refund goes) and all the girl told me was that they have procedures to keep hair out of food (obviously something wasnt done right) and she had to talk to her manager about it. I work in customer service and its just weird how something like this is easily dismissed by a food service. I ordered two dozen cupcakes and its strange how i’m expected to go in blind for the rest of them because there was a hair in one. My information wasnt taken down and all I got was a sorry. The owner who is extremely kind was also extremely generous and dropped off some sample cupcakes to where I work. Red velvet is my absolute favorite but it is extremely hard for some places to get just right and their red velvet cupcake is just right!! I also had to sample another one and that one was equally as delicious. The owner told me they also have coffee and make their own ice cream.
