Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Del City

Like so many others who have panned this location, I cannot understand how a shift manager is on duty and allows ALL the employees to stand around while customers pile up. After not moving one car length in 15 minutes we decided to park and go in thinking someone had a huge order in front of us. Inside were 3 customers, and before even approaching the counter a kind elderly lady told us to go elsewhere because she'd been waiting 30 minutes for her meal. It was my daughter's birthday and she requested DQ, else is have gone anywhere. Long story shortened, it took 20 minutes to get a blizzard and a banana split which didn't have whipped topping or a cherry. I went up to the counter and the rude employee said she'd told me they were out! A freaking lie. Hope place closes for good. Now here's joke: the store manager doesn't give a monkey's behind about all the negative reviews. How do I know? Mainly since I'll get the same auto reply everyone else gets.

I have continuous bad experiences at this DQ. It breaks my heart as a military member to finally get to a base with a DQ near by and it isn't even worth it. I still look forward to going home (IL) to get DQ. Every now and then I slip and decide to give this one another try but I am always disappointed. The slush tastes like peanut butter and chocolate, probably blended with the same, unclean machine they blend the blizzards with. The sandwiches are always put together wrong, burnt, cold, and/or old. The level of professionalism is lacking. Someone tried talking to me through the glass at the drive through window to get my bag back, because they gave me the wrong sandwich. I opened and touched these sandwiches and I am pretty sure they gave that sandwich to another customer. I also had to ask for the rest of my order that was missing when she tried to rush me through the drive through. I'll probably give this one another try in a few months, when I can no longer put off my slush craving. I sure do hope something improves between...

If there was a minus 100 million that is what I would give this store. The people were some what nice in the beginning while ordering, then after we finally got our meal I heard the ladies this term I use loosely, saying they hate white women they are so nasty. Then when my granddaughter was ready for her icecream cone that came with her childrens meal, I had to wait for at least 20 minutes after which I went to the counter to see why it took so long to make after I saw two others that got cones, one Male coworker and a customer who were not white as my family is. Asked them if we could get her cone took them a few minutes before they said we don't have any children's cones and then I said well can you put it in a cup and was given a horrible look when the cup was placed on the counter and then had to wait until they stopped talking about other things to get the icecream. I wouldn't recommend going here if you are white unless you like being treated like trash. Horrible people...
