Casa Juanito — Restaurant in Del City

I'm very picky about my food. I've found a restaurant that has never cooked anything that wasn't tasty or hot. We usually order on DoorDash, but decided to eat in the restaurant since we were already out.

I got the cheese chili rellenos with rice and beans. My daughter ordered fajitas. The set up comes with the meal at no extra charge. It's not overly salted and the sides tasted fresh.

The food tasted authentic, like I've eaten along the border. The fajita meat was sizzling hot with fresh, soft tortillas. My relents were literally mouthwatering.

I told Eric that we're moving in. He got the joke and laughed.

The employees were all warm and friendly, but not in the fake way you see in most places nowadays. I could be wrong, but I believe they're family.

I asked how to give the waiter, Eric, a tip since you pay whenever you get the food, but he said they don't get tips and to just put a review in here for them.

Being Hispanic, I always hesitate to go into a Mexican restaurant. This was definitely one of the worst places I've ever eaten at. The service was rude as well. Every time the waiter/cook came to the table, it was like it was an inconvenience to bring more chips, or salsa, or refill on drinks.

I ordered a steak burrito with green sauce and rice inside, no cheese sauce. What came was a shredded chicken burrito with rice and green sauce on the inside and cheese sauce and green sauce over. Both sauces were not tasty and when my mother, who had just had surgery, had mentioned that my order was wrong, he looked at me in frustration. Mind you, this was the guy that took and made the order. I said I was sorry for sending the bland food back hoping the steak burrito would be better, and he literally said, "no you're not"...will never ever go back to this place or recommend it to anyone.

Placed a to go order and was told 37.81 over the phone and told them I needed the price because my daughter is picking it up. When my daughter got there to pick it up it was almost 10 more than what was told to me. She called me and said that they told me it was before tax at what the quoted me. So I said fine pay the extra $4 on my card. We get our food and 2 dinners are incorrect and they actually charged my card almost $9.
