Taco Mayo — Restaurant in Del City

My five-year-old and I walked over from our apartment to have a quick bite before he went to bed, but it wound up being a very long dinner with most of it spent waiting for our food. After 20 minutes of waiting I went to the counter with my receipt to ask what was going on and the girl asked me what I even ordered. I showed her my receipt and she took it to the manager who is preparing all the food. She came back and said it would be just another minute and it wound up being around 10. I went back to the counter after she brought our food out and ask for my receipt back but they had already thrown it away or misplaced it. I didn't even bother waiting for a reprint on the receipt as they didn't even act like they were even worried about making one. I went back to the table to eat a cold taco, cold locos, and some cheese sauce that was surprisingly hot. My son also ate the same. I watched two customers come in from the drive-through with orders that were messed up. One of them I had a verbal altercation with the African American kid that was working the drive-thru and not doing much of anything other than dancing and trying to show off. I cannot recommend anyone to eat at this Taco Mayo because of the pure lack of maturity in the staff, the long waiting time, and the overall cleanliness of the store. The tables were almost all dirty and they only had salsa in the salsa bar where there is normally pico de gallo and other stuff. I will edit my post after I return tomorrow during the day to speak with a manager. I want to see if she will make it right and give me an experience that I would expect to have coming to a Taco Mayo. This is one restaurant that is close enough to walk to from my home and I would like to be able to go back. This is not the first incident when eating at this Taco Mayo. The other incident was taken care of by management. It just seems like this location has quite a bit of issues from time to time. Check your order and make sure you voice your comments. Things don't get fixed if it...

Only 3 working at 6pm lots of people waiting. The one who was working the hardest was this nice older lady cooking. The guy working the counter couldn't seem to get why he was there . He left the counter to hang around the guy working the window( who was ALSO handling food and kept scratching his head and touching his hat) anyhow the guy who took our order left the counter and a couple stepped up waiting to give their order- which i finally got his attention and said " these people are WAITING for someone to take their order!!" In the meantime I realise i dont have my debit card and can't find it. I finally find it sitting next to the register right there on the counter for ANYONE to take / steal . so again i had to get his attention to get him to come over and give me my debit card. In the meantime lots more walk in to order and are ignored until once again i got mad and got hiz attention telling him people are WAITING to give their orders! He was clueless . i also want to add when he took our order he messed it up anx my daughter caught it. He rang up almost $90?!?! ..... This place was so dirty and disorganized . we usually go through the drive thru . I wont be going to this taco mayo again. It took us bout 40 mins to finally get our food and then they forgot half our order. The lady apologized and came over telling me shed given us a couple of burritos since we had to wait. She seemed to know what she was doing but was completely overwhelmed because of having 2 co-workers who were in la la land like they were at their homes or something instead if a job. We spent over $40 total for a horrible experience....

For the prices we pay nowadays is astronomical... The food was very little in soft tortilla and the food was distasteful. Dry in some bites. 1 is fuller than other- the fact that the daytime manager watched it being prepared is insane. Manager was friendly when walking into business...Very little meat ... Look at pix posted...The bean burrito was extremely dry n distasteful. Threw bean burrito away didn't get pic of that. Hard pieces are not cool and other TM locations doesn't taste the way it tasted at this location. Shouldn't we give the proper amount of food for the amount we pay. I love Taco Mayo. May try once more to see if changed... Visited 5.1.23 Absolutely not better... food is much SMALLER portions in food. Ordered tacos n literally your eating bread more than actual product in tortilla... Mgr needs to approve or mgr needs to switch jobs for letting their employees give out the mini tacos that suppose to a whole taco ... Visit this area quite frequently n Taco Mayo at this location needs some training .. Needs .5 🌟 not even a 1*... willing to give opportunity to make...
