I just went here for the first time I spent $40 I got two appetizers and one main meal and an extra. the service was great. The atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant looks very new and very nice but the food (and I mean everything that I ordered) was all very bland. I had tteokbokki and yaki Mandu and pork bulgogi. The white rice, and the extra lettuce that I ordered had the most flavor out of everything. The tteokbokki Had a lot of vegetables and the fish cakes were good but the rice cakes themselves had zero flavor whatsoever. The pork Bulgogi was pork shoulder and I don’t like pork shoulder at all so it was not very good either. I was super disappointed and I was really mad that I paid $20 for pork that was really not good. I tried to eat it, and I could not at all if you like pork shoulder then it will probably be great for you, but I did not like it. That is not why I gave it three stars three stars are because the entire meal was so bland even the Mandu. It was my first time here and I wanted to give it a try and now I know, and I might be back to try the barbecue, but other than that it was not very good Edit after they replied: I did ask about the food before ordering and normally the pork is not pork shoulder when you order pork Bulgogi. Thanks tho Even if I did like pork shoulder, the meat was so chewy, and had so many pieces of fat I could not chew it...
Read moreFood was absolutely incredible, but there were a few quirks.
If you want to do the Korean BBQ where you cook it yourself, you only have 3 options of meat, and it must be for 2. This is fine but, except you can't mix or match it. As well, our waitress was very nice and helpful but could have used a little more training for the job.
Be careful if you go with the cook yourself option. You will want to turn down the burner before diving in or it will cook really, really fast. This can be a great experience, but just make sure you don't just throw everything on at once (or in our case have most of it placed on there immediately by staff).
Aside from these quirks, again I have to reiterate. FOOD IS AMAZING. I can't think of a single complaint about food. It is far and away the best Korean BBQ I've ever had. And of you don't go with the "cook it yourself" option a lot of these complaints can be avoided (plus there's a lot more choices).
It's really worth repeating....
Read moreI am a huge fan of their pork bulgogi. (This takes longer to prepare so don't wait to order if you are super hungry)
•••Warning••• if you don't like very spicy hot, you need to be firm with the staff. Korean BBQ will always have some heat but sometimes the staff will assume everyone at the table wants super spicy if one person wants it.
Staff is friendly and you pay at the register when you checkout. There isn't always a lot of staff so getting drinks can be problematic.
When I worked at Tinker AFB, I would eat here for lunch at least 8-10 times a year. I have followed them from their original location to their own building. It seems the lobby's middle section looks like a spillage of their storage which affects the atmosphere for me.
Lots of parking especially in the rear.
I think the price and amount of food...
