Long Zhu Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Del City

I know many of us Del City folks have a Canton sized hole in our hearts and there is no one that can replace them but in my opinion Long Zhu can sure help fill that hole with delicious Chinese food. Egg rolls are on point. Crispy outside warm and delicious center. Best eaten with sweet and sour sauce or duck sauce in my wife's opinion. I have tried every dish on their combo menu and most of the chef specials and there is something on there for everyone. Spicy, not spicy, sweet, savory, they have it all. If you like it spicy you can ask them to get it extra spicy. And grab some fried rice in literally every flavor. Don't forget the appetizers. Soup is fantastic and the crab Rangoon is even better. Dumplings are amazing if that's your thing. Finally the boba tea. So good! So many different flavors.

update: the pic is from a while back when i went to this place the first time. i went to this place again and got the special and the price was $9.80 again. instead of getting the same amount of food as last time it seemed the portion had diminished for the price from what i recall. quality didnt seem quite the same as before as it felt the food was quite bland and seemed to have been sitting out for a while under a heat lamp.

previous review: i got what you see in pic and an egg roll for $9.80 so you get a lot of food for the price you pay. based on this i cant really complain. decent food. would be 4 stars but the price bumps it up to 5 stars. a good place with drive thru for fast decent american style...

I usually don't review restaurants until I've eaten there several times, but this place just blew me away. I came here about 30 minutes before closing to get some random takeout after the restaurant I actually wanted to go to was closed early. So I went into this expecting mediocrity but was smacked in the face by horrendously cheap prices for top quality food. I'm actually a bit skeptical how they're making a profit when their food is THIS good for this cheap. I ordered the cashew chicken with an egg roll side around $6.75, and let me tell you.
