Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Del Rio

I had a delivery order placed this evening at 5:50pm using PayPal it was paid for! At 7:00pm with no delivery, I called Pizza Hut and a very disgruntled employee answered. I told her the situation and she informed me they had recd no order. I explained I ordered and it was paid for. Asked her what do I do. She hung up on me!!!!! I called PayPal, and after 30 minutes on the phone, they said the charge went thru!!!! So I called Pizza Hut back, explaining it once again to the same person and she was no help, no apologies no nothing. THEN all of a sudden my order is there waiting for me to pick it up. I explained it was for delivery! I asked it’s been sitting there for over 2 hours and you didn’t call me! I was told they don’t call customers!! I said then why do you ask for my phone number!!! I did end up having to pick up the COLD pizza, and was given no apology!!!! Local businesses need to realize that their product is not really that much better than anyone else, so what they need to offer, to get the edge, is good customer service. I recently was mobilized to Del Rio a month ago and wanted to have a pizza party with my new squad. I called to place an order at Pizza Hut 2114 Veterans blvd Del Rio Tx, 78840 at 4:11 and I ordered a big dinner box and an extra large New Yorker. Unfortunately one of my doesn’t eat pork due to religious beliefs. So I called back at 4:23 pm to change the toppings and the young lady (very rude) said she couldn’t adjust my toppings. Because of that I called AGAIN to cancel my order and the same lady answered the phone (rude again) and asked why I needed to cancel. I explained the reason, she replied ok and hung up. Since that answer doesn’t confirm anything, I called back again assuming we got disconnected. She admitted to hanging up in my face and the order was canceled. She could’ve EASILY said that in the previous phone call, confirmed and said goodbye. Why couldn’t this lady do that? I'm really not this type of a person but I figure if one stays quite the problem will keep on. Had a real bad experience awhile ago at this place. Ordered a thin n Krispy. Well,it wasn't Krispy "burnt" is a better word. Waitress noticed when she brought the pizza to our table after waiting nearly an hour and to top it off burned. Told us that they would make another at no cost. The pizza never got to our table. Got tired of waiting. So we got up to pay the bill told the cashier the problem and she didn't charged us.
