I went to the McDonald's located at 211 HWY 83 Delafield. According to the McDonald's app, that store serves food until 9:59 pm. I ordered through the app at approximately 9:10 pm and attempted to pick up my food through the drive-thru at roughly 9:17 pm. The drive-thru did not seem to be working, so I pulled up to the first window, where I saw two employees inside. Neither one would come to the window, even though they saw me. I changed my order to curbside pick-up, and the app said that my food would be out in two to five minutes. I waited approximately twenty minutes. When I checked the app, it told me to enjoy my food and showed my receipt. I went back through the drive-thru, and I saw several cars go through it as I was waiting for my food. Once again, no one was attending the drive-thru, so I pulled up to the first window as there was another car at the second window. I sat there as one of the employees noticed me several times. At this point, I was not interested in getting food anymore. I wanted my money back. Another car pulled up behind me in the drive-thru. I saw one employee go out of sight of the window and yell something along the lines of, "WE ARE NOT SERVING FOOD ANYMORE, GO AWAY!" and you could audibly hear the two employees inside laugh. This happened several times as I sat there. Instead of one of them just coming to the window or tending to the drive-thru, they cowered out of site. The car at the second window eventually left, so I pulled up to the window. I saw the other employee sweeping. I waved to try and get their attention, and they ignored me. As I said, I was not interested in getting my food anymore. I understand they wanted to close early, but there are better ways to handle that. Read moreI ordered one online but due to some glitch with the McDonald’s app my money was taken, but my order was not received so I paid for something that I didn’t get when I went inside to speak with an associate to see about a refund. I was ignored by the associate Instead of prioritizing. Her job decided to speak with another customer about what was going on in her life now, I sit there at the counter, waiting for some time before I asked if Was a manager that could assist me she continue to ignore me until I yelled over-the-counter for a manager at this time. She had already helped the customer in front of her, but just continue talking to her anyways about life situation while the line accumulated. So now that I’m yelling for a manager, so I can get my refund she finally acknowledges me, but then start speaking with other customers in line that have been waiting to be helped. When I told her the situation that I purchased the order that I wasn’t able to receive, she wanted proof so I showed her the screen on my phone that show that money has been taken out my account. She took the phone on my hand and started going through my bank account Statements, looking at everything, and then told me that she believe it was credited back to my account which it did not show anything to provide proof that that was indeed the case so I left without being helped without my money and without the Food that I ordered the associate claim that she was the manager, and her...

I witnessed the frustration of "Life of B and C" (see earlier negative review). He was just one of many patrons on this Sunday, 4/14/19, late morning, grumbling with due cause.
I watched, as time after time, guests were not given their drinks, incorrect food orders from those ordering inside and even a drive thru patron coming inside due to an incorrect order. There was only one cashier but why not have someone either dedicated to getting ordered drinks and give them to the guests or have the cashier, at a minimum, get the drinks?
There was a lot of confusion with workflow resulting in frustration and long wait times for patrons resulting in unhappy guests.
The location is ideal on the I-94 corridor and Hwy 83. Hopefully, management isn't taking the approach that we will always be busy due to our location and convenience to our guests.
I don't go here often but certainly hope the combined feedback (i.e. other reviews) will not fall on deaf ears.
My wait time was 15 minutes after ordering. My order was correct, as an aside. The 2 star review is due to the frustration from other patrons. It made for an uncomfortable atmosphere that I really didn't need...
