I been ordering from here for a long time. Today is the first time there was a problem and they handled it with a very rude attitude as if it was my fault. I ordered a large thick crust pizza with extra cheese. Paid $30 with tip to have delivered. The pizza arrived and what was delivered was a regular crust pizza with no extra cheese. I called, was very polite thinking they would make it right without question. I said I think I have the wrong pizza. The employee put me on hold came back and told me there is nothing they can do about it..... what??.you cant do anything for not delivering what i payed extra for???.. I asked for the manager and he said that is what the manager said. So I paid for a large thick crust with extra cheese but got a regular pizza with regular cheese but was charged for what I actually ordered and nothing you can do???. Then he asked "has the pizza been touched?" As I told him in the beginning, they just dropped it off 1 minute ago and noticed it's not what I ordered or payed for. No I didn't touch it. Why, you going to sell it to someone else? They are sending the right pie after me expressing my frustration, but now have to wait another hour for everyone to eat. .probably spit in it. How about, sorry for the mixup, mistakes happen. We will give you a coupon for free cheesy bread on your next order.. or "hey, we screwed up, keep that pie and we will send the right one. Its Going in the trash "hopefully " anyway. something for the huge inconvenience. I was actually shocked on how they handled them making the mistake and trying not to make it right like it's my fault. Read moreThe past 3 times I’ve tried to order Marcos I’ve either gotten food that didn’t have thing I asked for on them or like tonight had to wait longer than I was suppose to. I ordered for Curbside for the very first time as I had my little one with me. I was told pick you and would between such and such time. I pulled into a parking spot and patiently waited. 5 minutes past the time went, that’s okay. 10 minutes went by so I called. I then got hung up 5 TIMES and each time they would pick up and immediately hang up the phone. I then flipped out, went inside and stood there for quite some time until I had to yell for someone to get up front and help the 10 customers who were waiting for the order. 10. The manager came up and said his ENTIRE crew minus 3 that was including himself is knew because his old crew quit. Even the ones that have been there longer showed absolutely no urgency to help anyone. So I got my refund and walked out. Read moreI've opened and managed 13 Pizza Hut's and 3 Papa John's over the yrs so I know a little about pizza chains. Several reviews on here are from April and early May. This location hasn't even been open for a week and it's May 25th so disregard earlier reviews as they are not fair.
Now for a review.... I have ordered twice now from this location, both pick-up orders from the app and both times my food was ready in 15 mins as promised. The dough is made fresh every day, not frozen or made at a commissary. Has an airy crust yet crispy on bottom with great flavor. Garlic butter sauce added makes it a 10. Sauce and cheese are both flavorful. Overall a great product.
Make sure you download the app so you can use coupons and get free items! I predict this place is going to get busy fast and I wish them luck as they gain experience as it can be a little overwhelming at first. Welcome to DeLand...
