One of the worst most horrible experiences I ve ever had at a restaurant.we waited forever to get our food. I saw our food sitting in the window while our waitress was filling her sugars at other tables. Must of have been up there 5 minutes. Sure enough, I asked where my side of bacon was cuz she forgot it. I also told her my biscuits & gravy were cold. She tried to remove my plate to take it back. But I wouldn't let her because we waited at least forty five minutes for our food And I literally saw it sitting in the window for no less than five minutes and I was hungry and wanted to get on with the day. So she comes back with my bacon and says what do you want me to do, I says bring me some hot biscuits and gravy. And she proceeded to tell me she didn't like my attitude and that I was yelling at her and then literally started throwing the f bombs at me. You think a manager would have stepped in?Because it was getting pretty loud between the 2 of us but no manager intervened. At that point I had to walk out and leave my breakfast there Before the confrontation got even worse than it was, She was so confrontational And didn't know what was gonna happen next so I left without eating. Plus I was so upset the way I was treated.I couldn't even eat. Also I would like to mention that the booth next to us.We heard the lady tell her husband that she was waiting for her soda and her soup and why hadnt the waitress brought it yet. They obviously don't care about their customers. The nerve of her saying she didn't like my attitude because my food was cold because she left it sitting up there in the window. If you want cold food and to be cursed and swore at for your meal go ahead and go there. Also, everything on the table was sticky from the salt and pepper shakers to the Tabasco sauce. What a dirty Horrible place With a very very foul...
Read moreAfter a bad experience at another restaurant, my wife and I came here for breakfast. Atmosphere was much better compared to the last place in my previous review in my history. Place was packed but we still got seated very Waitress was very attentive to our drinks and what we ordered. Skillets were amazing and sizzling hot, flavors were great and they had hot sauce available but I felt guilty about adding hot sauce being that it felt like I was disrespecting the cook. Great food nonetheless and we got our food rather quickly. My wife is a great cook and all, and the food here was almost on par with her cooking, which speaks volumes. Food also reasonably priced.
Felt like a nice friendly place where everyone is welcome. Nothing but smiling happy faces there with staff and also other patrons. Will definitely come back, and this might end up becoming our regular spot.
Unlike that other place in Delavan that shall not be named, POC and interracial couples are definitely welcome. No stares or scowls when you walk in. Just smiles and warm friendly faces.
Also while we were there, there was a sudden delightful smell of chocolate permeating the restaurant. I'm not sure what it was, but my wife and I will definitely find out and order whatever it was next time we are there because it smelled delicious but we were too full to order any more. ...
Read moreThe waitress was friendly and she provided quick service. The food didn’t take long to be served after we ordered.
My grandson, who is 23 months, had the kids pancake, scrambled egg, and sausage. He enjoyed the food and didn’t get much on the floor. My son had a cheeseburger and fries. He said it was good and very filling. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. He said the burger wasn’t as juicy as he would have liked, but the flavor was good, and the patty filled the bun.
My niece had the kids cheeseburger and fries. Her cheeseburger was as big, not much smaller than my husband’s and son’s. I ordered the pork tamales with red chili sauce. The tamales came with refried beans, and rice. Chips and salsa were served before the tamales. The chips had just a hint of salt. The salsa wasn’t chunky and was bland. The tamales weren’t wrapped with a corn wrap, as they generally are. They were served with cheese on top. I also ordered sour cream on the side. I was pleased that the tamales had a good flavor and the cheese added to the flavor. The beans and rice had very little flavor and were not seasoned.
Overall this restaurant offers good quality service and the food...
