I decided to stop and pick up my 2 yos rx today while i waited for my laundry to wash. I arrived in the drive thru with 4 cars ahead of me bo big deal i had time to wait. When it was finally my turn i gave my daughters name and date of birth. The unfriendly woman working the window with grayish purple spikey hair asked if my daughter sent me with her insurance card. I explained tgat yes i had the card i typically used with me and sent the card in. I was again asked if i had another insurance card and i explained i did not have another card with her correct info on it but usually they were able to look it up using the one provided. The woman then told me they were capable of looking it up but due to other cars waiting id either need to pay the expense out of pocket or get out of line and wait for an hour or so until they were no longer busy and could be bothered to help me. I was extremely irritated at the fact that i was brushed of and treated as tho my business was not as important as the business of the cars behind me. So I hurried home to find the “correct” insurance card and rushed back to the store frustrated and intending to speak to a manager inside of the building this time. There was a line of 4 people waiting when i arrived and i waited patiently silently fuming, meanwhile the spikey haired woman was carrying on loudly with a man in a bright highlighter yellow shirt (who i learned later was the MANAGER Chris who has been with the company for 16 years) gossiping about other customers including myself. When it was finally my turn i asked the young lady wearing heavy makeup and looking like she just walked out of a mosh pit if they had a manager, she directed me to another window to wait for the manager. Meanwhile the same unfriendly woman from the window turned around and saw me and stated that they were able to look up my daughter’s insurance quickly after all and i just need to wait a few moments, i said thats fine but that i still wanted to speak with a manager. And the woman replied with why? I stated that i wasn’t happy about how i was treated in the drive thru to which she replied with “why cuz i asked for your insurance card.” This made me so mad i was shaking. I stated again i would like to speak to a manager at which point the woman started engaging and arguing with me about how i need the insurance card to get my rx at which point the “manager” finally stepped in and continued to allow his employee to argue with me over his shoulder i was so angry at this point that i finally asked them to explain to me what was so different about the two cards that they couldn't look it up when i was in the drive thru. He showed me that there were different numbers on the two cards, which still confuses me because they were still able to pull the insurance up with out the other card. I replied with okay fine id just like my daughters prescription then to which the manager told me i had to go back to the end of the line and wait AGAIN. The young woman who had gotten the manager for me in the first place walked over and got my daughters rx and rang it out before calling her name. I went to the counter and completed the transaction and after i told her thank you and stated “atleast there is one helpful person working here” to which she replied that i needed to “calm down” im so furious with the mistreatment and lack of customer service. I have never had such a terrible experience at any other walgreens pharmacy. But clearly the Delavan Walgreens does not live up to any kind of standard and they do not care about their...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if I was able too after the encounter I experienced tonight. The pharmacist, Chris is extremely rude. Waiting in line, both inside the store & the drive thru, for over 90mins now, this is my 2nd time approaching the window, being told "it's going to be at least 30-35mins" I explained that the previous tech has just had me wait 25mins & the pharmacist's response was "Well I don't care, that's the kind of night that I'm having & you will NOT rush me with this medication." Are you kidding me? I completely understand that it was busy and that I am not the only customer. I waited patiently the first 25mins but there's no patiently waiting after being told, ever-so-rudely, to wait for another 30mins a 2nd time. Maybe if he wasn't such a condescending prick, then I would have waited patiently a 2nd time. Also, maybe if the young, very obviously NEW employee that doesn't seem to have the slightest clue as to what she is doing, wasn't standing around on her cell phone when both drive thru lanes have 2+ vehicles waiting to be helped and a line of 3 people waiting to be helped inside the store, then they wouldn't be so busy and have to be total jerks to their customers for no reason. It is now 8:45pm and I am STILL waiting for them to fill my prescription. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Will be switching over to a different Walgreens...
Read moreI have had my fair share of hiccups with many Walgreens locations. However, Delavan Walgreens pharmacy staff have all been so kind every time I have utilized them. Last night they exceed my expatiations the pharmacist last night Adam helped fix a mishap with my medications due to Fort Atkinson Walgreens messing up prescription and sending a claim to insurance when no medications where picked up. I spoke with Adam and he explained to me why I was unable to fill my medications until next month due to that claim but insured me he would call my insurance and see if he can fix it (I was absolutely not expecting him to 1. Actually call my insurance due to past experiences I have had with other Walgreens locations. 2. My medication problem be solved that night leaving me without my medication) and within 15 minutes he personally calls me back and corrected everything and from the time my medications were sent in to not even an hour later they were ready. I was very impressed and he went above and beyond insuring I got my medications. I would drive an hour from where I live to just use this Walgreens again from my...
