Try the avgolemeno soup and the rice pudding. The homemade Greek dressing is perfect for the salad, as well as feta cheese, kalamata olives (be aware of pits before biting into them) one of two whole peppercinis, and a dolmada make this one of the most authentic Greek salads you can get in Delaware. You can add grilled chicken on top, which is cooked to order and nice and hot opposing the cold salad. Have you ever had cold chicken on a salad? Its not good.

Here the chicken breasts are always marinated and seasoned, and always juicy. Greek spaghetti has feta, butter, and its best when you add the chicken on top!

Stuffed peppers are close to the ones i grew up eating at home, the chicken and dumplings are delicious with white meat, and the crab cakes are something that put this place on the map, little filler and lots of crabmeat, broiled is my choice because its better that way but u can get them fried if you like. Seafood platters are a deal for only around $22.

Breakfast omlettes are made with 3 eggs, be sure to try the Greek omelette with fetus, tomatoes, and spinach. Eggs whites,egg beaters, no problem but you will pay a couple dollars for the substitution. French toast with bananas and homemade whipped cream is the perfect indulgence every now and then.

Now i have to tell you about the desserts before i wrap this up. Bakery downstairs is the birthplace of all the cakes and pies. I will say: coconut cream, banana cream, cherry pie a la mode with chocolate ice cream!!! And, worth repeating myself to finish my review i will leave you with 2 words you should repeat after every meal here:...

I have been coming to cosmos for decades and never once had a problem with any staff members. Today 12/31 I decided to order breakfast for my son and I. My initial call was at 9:51am I called an older woman who was the so called manager started to take my order while im on the phone an employee started to ask a question next she literally placed the phone down without finishing my order and all I heard was her and another employee talking about a customer complaining . I called back again 15x and she did not answer the phone. I left it alone called again at 10:37am she answers again she says hold please here I am again another 10min hung up called back again she tried to make me hold and I said listen its 45min of calling this is ridiculous, she takes my order only to mess it up and when I pick up get home its wrong. I had to drive back again and her attitude was a disgrace she literally said 'OH WELL WE BUSY WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO" unprofessional, nasty, and rude. So I had to tell her as a restaurant owner myself for 15years and with 4.8 stars she was a disgrace for the business and would not be my employee. I stand on service quality and consistency. She walked away and did not have a care in the world. I get my food again only to get home and it was wrong again and it went in the trash. I have seen cosmos busy and today it was not busy so there was no reason at all for any of it. Will not be going back. She must be a family employee that she can get away with how she treats...

Very disorganized staff. Stood at front for about 5 minutes before anyone was acknowledged (myself and probably 5 others). Two employees had to decide who was going to be our host(ess). When they figured it out, the host took me to my table and said "I've got the breakfast menu here for you. Is that okay?" Umm… it's like 1pm, dude. No, it's not okay. An older guy likes to just come out of the kitchen and stand, staring at customers like a stalker (not like a typical manager would do). One woman asked another if she wanted help and the second woman said "I'M BUSY!", but refused help. Salad was swimming in dressing. Lunch entree (pastichio) wasn't bad. A little different than what I'm used to, but that's why I ordered it. The set of silverware across the table from me had not been washed properly. Still had something on them. The flap on the sugar jar thing for coffee doesn't close, so at night, their bugs (I'd be willing to bet they have bugs) probably have a blast in there. Biggest problem was the bread that the server brought me. Underneath the bread, inside the coffee filter with the bread, was someone else's balled up straw wrappers! Like I started to butter my bread and saw it and thought to myself "I don't remember putting my straw wrapper in there." Nope, mine was still on the table. If it wasn't for someone else's dirty dish being used for my food, I'd probably give this...
