Quick Mart — Local services in Wilmington

Really sad that we had to move out of the neighborhood because we miss this little store. These guys really became part of the area's extended family and that's not something you see these days. Great for warm welcome when they see you, just putting a smile on your face when leaving.

They've also done special orders for items for us. They stocked green tea Ginger ale for me and a particular pipe tobacco for my better half. Really helpful when we didn't have a vehicle! They also carry some grocery items which helps in a pinch!

Also nice is how they recognized everyone coming into the store. This community is very close knit but once you get to know them, they're generally wonderful. During football season, the best time to get in the store would be after 1pm as the time of the games have started and it can be a little crowded. Some people wait until the very last minute to play their cards which doesn't help and can be frustrating.

All and all, even though we moved, we still frequent this store. It's worth coming back into the neighborhood just for a visit. You never know who you'll come across and the store owner and employees make you feel good the moment you walk through the door. I might be speaking with a tinge of bias, but as far as corner stores this one is...

I think we've been going to Quick Mart here on Maryland Ave for the last I'd say over 11 years and of those 11 years Louie and I have became like family to the owners and his workers. They are very clean always stocked nothing's ever expired they have anything you need from snacks toiletries and the prices you can't beat them. The parking lot is very kept up there's no loitering around there it feels very safe. And if you're looking for some Vapes single use flavored tobacco he has great prices on his selections. Anyway long story short if I could I would give Quickie Mart 10 Stars. He doesn't make us feel like a regular customer he makes us feel like family. Such an amazing man that runs that place his aura is so bright with kindness. We love you Jack. Very filthy place. It’s dirty and the slushy machine isn’t clean. I was overcharged. I brought 20 dollars worth of items and gave them a $50 bill but only got $25 back. When I attempted to clarify to the person he started cussing at me. When another person came who I guessed was the manager. He didn’t pay attention to me and started taking people behind me while chatting on the phone. They were saying racial slurs in their language which I found out later by looking it up.
