This place is a gold mine for doing really nice events. Unfortunately it is being run by a bunch of money hungry retired seniors that truly could care less about the building. They complain they have a $150,000 cost and keeping the place open every year but won't work with promoters to make really cool, safe and great things happen in this facility. Not to mention any profit that comes from anything going into this building is supposed to go to the Shriners Hospital, I have been told as a part of the events that I wanted to hold that I had to pay their staff. Pay their staff? Those people should be volunteers if it's for a charity organization. Sounds to me like a bunch of organized crime and a big scam no wonder nobody runs from this place as much as they should. It's such a shame. ย ย ย Read moreI was there for a birthday party on saturday. The facility is extremely OUTDATED AND DILAPADATED ...the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting rusted and painted over. The building is in extreme need of repairs and updating. They need to ride over to Newark Executive hall and get some ideas of how to make themselves more appealing to potential rentees...the caterer that was used was horrific..kids pizza was frozen and cold along with their french fries...the chicken and salmon meals were room temperature and full of salt !!! I was able to buy a lot of what I needed at affordable prices. The vendors were friendly and knowledgeable! I learned a LOT from all of them. A 1987 toned Silver Eagles, Walking Liberty Halves, Franklin Halves, Barber quarters, Peace dollars, Seated Liberty Quarters and a ton of Mercury Dimes which should come close to completing my Mercury Dime book.
