I normally never have an issue with this Starbucks , which is why it's my go-to on the way to work, but the last couples times I've been extremely disappointed in the services recently. Last week when I went, the girl at the register looked miserable and made me feel like I was bothering her for being there. And yeah I get it, I work in retail, but you still have to at least PRETEND to be happy and not make the customer uncomfortable because of your attitude. And the most recent occasion was today on my way to work. While I was about 10-15 minutes away, I mobile ordered my drink so it would be ready by the time I got there without making me late for work. Sadly I was wrong. I walked inside only to not see my drink sitting at the mobile order pick up spot. So I waited around for no more than 5 minutes before I saw the girl starting to make it. It's not a complicated drink whatsoever . It's 3 ingredients. That's it. I've gotten this drink ( the Violet drink ) plenty of times and it's always a gorgeous shade of dark purple. I watched the girl fill the milk all the way to the top and pour maybe a teaspoon of the tea in, slammed the lid on and put it down on the counter and walked away. My drink was basically all milk. I ordered it to also have come with blackberries and I didn't get those in my drink either. So not only was I late to work, I also wasted my money. Read moreI'll stop to different Starbucks when traveling. They and Panera Bread are my preferred places for coffee and pastries. I wanted to leave a review on this local one that I use frequently. Some of the reviews I've read below aren't even for this location, which is confusing. Anyway, for those who read my reviews and my profile, you'll notice comments on comfort and accessibility. These issues have been a priority to me in the last few years.
In the past, I used to go inside when meeting up with a friend for coffee. Between 2010 and 2017, I couldn't say how many times I must have ordered and picked up inside or sat inside this location! I don't recall ever having any negative experiences. In the last few years, I have used the drive-thru or waited while a family member has gone inside. I have never had any issues with the service as it's always been friendly.
The drinks and food that I like have been consistent in flavor. There are just a handful of menu items I like. If anything were ever unavailable, the barista would explain and see if we were interested in any other flavor, pastry, or whatever the item was. Read moreI used to go here all the time but after today, I can’t say that I’ll be back. The cashier at the drive through was as amazing as could be. However, the barista making the drinks couldn’t have a poorer attitude. I ordered a coffee for myself and one for my dad. The barista was laughing and pointing at the order (my dad likes his coffee a bit sweet) and I could hear the barista making fun of the order. He then TOOK A PICTURE of the drink order and said that he was going to show his friends - to continue to poke and make fun of the order. I cannot believe that anyone in the service industry would be this cruel and purposefully humiliate a customer for something as small as ordering a coffee. The baristas attitude and statements were so bad the other staff were also upset with this barista over his actions and apologized heavily to me and my father. I apologized profusely to my father for the baristas actions and I apologized to the cashier for the fact that she has to work with someone as terrible and rude as the male barista who was purposely making fun of a typical drink order for no reason.
