Wendy's — Restaurant in Delaware

This Wendy's location is quite the surprise compared to some of the other ones we have been to lately. Everything looks normal and basic on the outside, and parking is a little on the smaller side, but once you walk inside it feels like you are walking into a totally different place. The lights are dimmer, the music is playing loud enough to hear (the music) but not too loud that you can't even hear yourself talking, and the whole atmosphere is just so relaxing and welcoming. The only thing I could ever complain about this Wendy's is that you need to double and maybe even triple check your order before leaving because there are bound to be something missing, something made wrong, or even just the wrong order altogether. I don't know what it is with Wendy's, but we have come to expect this with all Wendy's nowadays because it is fast food and I'm sure their jobs are hard enough as it is. The food can be really great when it is correct though as my family's orders are usually correct but for some reason MY order is consistently wrong in all manners possible. I mostly chalk it up to the small wages because it must be pretty dang hard and inconvenient for them to hold the pickles and onions as that's all my orders ever are. So anyway, I certainly would recommend this location if you want a great meal at a great place, even the staff are generally pleasant and considerate, just be sure to really check your order pretty well to avoid...

Don’t waste your time stopping by here. Waited over 35 minutes in line for them not even to acknowledge us. Very poor management. They were taking Doordash orders, drive thru, and online orders while ignoring everyone inside waiting to place an order. At least two people in front of us got tired of waiting and left. After waiting for 30 minutes and no one acknowledging us I said something to a worker about no one helping anyone inside. She said she was “getting to it” and then walks away and then comes back to get a Doordash order. That order came in at 9:19 according to the time stamp of the receipt and let her know we arrived way before that time and should serve us next. Very POOR management and they had at least 5 people working back there for any of this to have happened. When I finally received my order and took a bite of my Dave’s double it smelled and gave me a taste of mold. The health department needs to check this...

I stopped by this location today. I haven't been to this location in many years. The lady who took my order at the drive-thru was pleasant and friendly. When I pulled up to get my order, that's when the issues began. The young girl opened the window and said nothing. Not hi, not your order total is 11.99, not a word. I handed her my money. She tried to give me back 1 cent, but I told her it wasn't necessary. Then she mumbled something under her breath. I said, "Excuse me but got no response. Then I pull out to find I have a single hamburger in my bag. So, of course, I have to turn around and go inside to get this fixed. The young man was very pleasant inside and fixed it. Good thing cause she also gave me no receipt. This girl should not be dealing with any customers because her rude behavior, speaking under her breath and not checking the orders, changed a positive experience to negative...
