Gravity Smokehouse Brew & Que — Restaurant in Delhi Charter Township

I was a first time visitor and a last time in one visit. We came in were greeted by to individuals filling dipping cup at the counter the girl said hi and didn’t even look up, the gentleman asked how many and when I said 4 adults and 2 kids, he found a table and sat us. The waitress came out to our drink orders and offered appetizers. (So far so good) she returned with drinks but not mine, I figured must of forgot a couple minutes later she returned with it, no big deal. We Told her we needed a few more minutes, she said ok. A few minutes later she returned asked me my order and I asked about what sides they had, she showed me and asked her to get everyone else while I decided my 2 sides for my 3 meat dinner. She took everyone and walked away without mine. I waited to see if she would return and she didn’t. Started looking around for her and she didn’t come out of the back. After about 15 minutes I saw the gentleman setting another customer and I asked him to find out waitress, he asked who she was and I said I didn’t know, I never got her name. A few moments later she came out with the food for my table and told her she never took my order ( I was still holding my menu). No apology just took my order. Came back and offered my a side salad while I waited. I watch my family eat and about 10 minutes later she bought me my for. The food was barely warm. And very dry. The flavor was excellent. I asked for lean brisket and I got fatty. The cornbread was great. The fries were over cooked (basically hollow crunchy tubes). My meal was almost $30 I assume It should be hot. (My bill was $63 my daughters was $30) When it was time to leave our bills came (still no apologies) I assume they might discount it a little because of the forgetfulness but no and the gull print the “suggested tip” I did tip but it was very small. I will not recommend this...

Horrible the whole time. Wish we’d have left at the beginning when it took over 15 minutes just to get our drinks. But we gave them a chance, and left humiliated. The service took forever for everything, except to be seated, since they weren’t busy. When we were finally given our bill, we had to pay cash since they said their computers were down. She never came back to collect the bill and after almost an hour and a half of waiting around, I had had enough. So I tried to pay at the bar, but wasn’t even acknowledged by the bartender. So I left the bill and the cash by the beer taps and walked out disappointed and upset. We get to our cars and go to say goodbye when we hear someone yelling at us. We turn around to see our waitress yelling ridiculously about are we going to pay our bill. I said the money is on the bar and she proceeded to argue with me and accuse me of walking out on the bill. We were there with my father in law, to celebrate his birthday and that’s how his celebration was ended. She walked back inside all mad still acting like we didn’t pay. I know she feels stupid now. It’s all on the cameras too. I had left her a really good tip too, since her foot was broken and they didn’t have much waitstaff. We were humiliated by this place with no excuse for their behavior. Had anyone of the staff bothered to pay any attention to any customers other than the ones drinking at the bar, they could’ve prevented the whole situation. I highly recommend not bothering with this place. The food was subpar and so were the service and the atmosphere....

This place has potential to be a great neighborhood staple but has gone down in food quality and service in the past couple years. We dined in last night, our waitresses name was Kiley, her service was the worst Ive had in a very long time. She came to the table and greeted us, we ordered our food and drinks at the same time and I asked for a draft menu which she brought with my kids drinks. Our food arrived in 5 minutes or less after that and I ordered a cider. More than ten minutes go by and she never came back with my drink or to check on the food, which was also terrible. My Mac and cheese had two huge handfuls of shredded cheese that was barely melted, the food was not hot. The ribs were the worst, super dry and almost inedible. When Kiley finally came back we were done our food and she said she did not forget my drink they were just changing the keg. If that was even true (I have 15 years experience in the food service industry and several of those years as a bartender) she should have come right back and explained that and offered me a water in the mean time. After I communicated my issues with everything and asked for the check she did not even apologize or offer me anything for my inconvenience. Then she took 10 minutes to bring our bill and then walked away with my card and took 3 tables orders and she didn’t bring my card back for another 10+ minutes.
