A Culinary Delight: The Ultimate Dining Experience at 5th Element Delray I recently had the pleasure of dining at 5th Element Delray, and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary journey. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavors that delighted the palate.
Karapodi Chicken: The Karapodi Chicken was an absolute revelation. Tender, juicy pieces of chicken coated in a perfectly spiced blend of herbs and spices, with a hint of smoky flavor that lingered beautifully. It was an impeccable start to our meal, setting the tone for the feast that followed.
Mutton Roast Next, we indulged in the Mutton Roast, which was cooked to perfection. The mutton was succulent and flavorful, falling apart effortlessly with each bite. The rich, aromatic spices used in the roast elevated the dish to an art form. It was an absolute treat and a must-have for mutton lovers.
Onion Kulcha Paired with the dishes, the Onion Kulcha was an exceptional choice. Soft, fluffy, and generously stuffed with sweet caramelized onions, it was the perfect accompaniment. Each bite was a delightful blend of chewy and crispy textures, making it impossible to resist.
Chilly Paneer The Chilly Paneer was another highlight of the evening. The paneer was soft yet firm, perfectly absorbing the spicy, tangy sauce it was cooked in. The dish was a symphony of spices, balancing heat and flavor with finesse. It catered splendidly to our vegetarian cravings.
Keema Biryani Then came the star of the show - the Keema Biryani. Each grain of rice was a testament to the chef’s skill, perfectly cooked and infused with rich spices. The minced meat (keema) blended seamlessly into the biryani, creating a hearty and flavorful dish that we couldn’t get enough of. It was served with cooling raita, which added a refreshing contrast to the robust biryani.
Mango Lassi To conclude this gastronomic adventure, we savored the Mango Lassi. It was the ultimate palate cleanser, creamy and thick with the luscious sweetness of ripe mangoes. It was refreshing and indulgent, an ideal end to a perfect meal.
Overall Experience Overall, my dining experience at 5th Element Delray was nothing short of spectacular. The ambiance was inviting, the service was exemplary, and the food was phenomenal. Each dish was a testament to the chef's expertise and passion for culinary excellence. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.

Read moreVisited Element Indian Bistro for dinner and had an overall great experience. We arrived around 9:40 PM (they close at 10), but the staff was welcoming and served us without rushing. The ambiance was lovely—colorful Indian décor, upbeat Bollywood music, and a well-curated vibe. Their menu is extensive with chef and weekend specials, so take your time choosing!
What we tried: • Mulligatawny Veg Soup (8/10): Warm, comforting, and packed with flavor. It had visible oil on top and a curry-like base—definitely more of a spiced broth than a traditional soup, but still delicious. • Karampodi Chicken (10/10): A standout dish! Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in fiery South Indian spices and lentil powder. It reminded me of Chicken 65, but with an extra punch. Highly recommended—especially if you like bold flavors. • Aloo Tikki Chaat (9/10): Very fresh and flavorful. The crunchy sev on top was a nice touch. Just note: it’s more of a mashed potato base, not a traditional fried aloo tikki patty, which might be unexpected from the name. • Noodles (6/10): Ordered mild for the kids but found it too oily. Large chunks of cabbage and peas were slightly undercooked. Not the best choice from the menu. • Chicken Karhai with Boiled Rice (4/10): Disappointing. It had raw capsicum and tomato chunks, and the curry was more yogurt/cream-based than tomato-based—which didn’t match traditional Karhai expectations. More like a generic chicken curry. However, they kindly offered complimentary raita after we mentioned the spice level, which tasted great. • Roti: Soft, fresh, and well-made. No complaints here.
Spice Levels: They offer a 1–10 spice scale. I went with 3 and still found it quite spicy, so adjust accordingly depending on your tolerance.
Final Thoughts: Great atmosphere, attentive service, and a few dishes worth coming back for (especially the Karampodi Chicken!). Some misses, but the overall dining experience was enjoyable. Would recommend for anyone looking to explore authentic Indian flavors with a...
Read moreIf you like Indian food (or want to experience it), then read on! The restaurant is large, airy, clean, and nicely decorated with comfortable seating arrangements. The management is extremely nice. And, most importantly, we think it is the best Indian food aroundd; weʻve been searching for good Indian food near us in Florida for eight years!
Lunch is a reasonably-priced all-you-can-eat buffet from 11:30–3 that varies in price by the day of the week. Most food is mildly spiced, a few items are moderately spiced. I saw health care workers (the restaurant is surrounded by medical offices) buy their lunches to take out by the pound from the buffet table. Dinner is only a la carte.
One never knows what the selections on the buffet table will be but there are always several chicken dishes such as chicken masala, chicken tikka, and chicken saag, a shrimp dish, a beef dish, a fish dish, and , of course, plenty of naan bread and delicious rice. Plus one entire side of the buffet is vegetarian with fresh salads and cooked veggies such as chickpeas, eggplant, cauliflower, lentils, peas and cabbage in various sauces.
Desserts always seem to include soft- serve ice cream and rice pudding and sometimes gulab juman, which is donuts in syrup! Be sure to have some of their hot chai tea with spice and cream: it is on the third buffet table...
