I just relocated from California to Delray Beach Florida,I’m a big supporter of local businesses I decided to venture out and try Bagel with Deli. Big disappointment ever what a waste of an hour of my morning making a long line for the most disgusting bagel place Adding to that with the poorest customer service. They need to re-train their staff first of all they should care about their customers. My husband and I order a tuna melt on a multigrain bagel and a BLT with avocado sandwich bagel we order it to Go. I was waiting for my order near the registers, When I observe they been carrying a tray with bagel sandwiches back-and-forth without knowing who it belong to? Finally they yell my name out loud and they asked me was your order to go ? and I say yes so they take it behind the counter to put it Into a container to go. They think that I didn’t realize that my order has been waiting behind the counter for so long getting cold and they decide to give me a cold, hard and stale bagel panini???!! That I waited for an hour what type of service you are running? I told the lady name Kelly at the register that she gave me a cold sandwich, she answer me that I chose the wrong bagel for that sandwich that the multi bagel it’s normally like that! hard and stale??! She really thought that I was stupid ... I let her know that I know very well how a tuna melt sandwich bagel should be. She never apologize for their mistake putting my order for 30 minutes behind the counter without knowing that it was to go, it was their mistake they never apologize for it. Don’t waste your time on waiting for an hour for a bad service in this...
Read moreThe Owner or Manager at this point I Really do not know. If he is the Owner it is Shocking how he talks to Guest. I frequented this restaurant 4 to 5 times a week I got a salad to go asked for dressing on the side because I wasn’t eating it til later in the evening. When I went to eat it the salad was soggy because they put the dressing on it. Furthermore I asked for double chicken and I basically got chicken scraps I was charged $17.00 for a salad I couldn’t eat. I went back this morning to talk to a manager. You would think as much as I go there I would be appreciated but no. Robert the so called Owner tried to explain to me that salads don’t hold up for 4 hours. They Will if Dressing on the Side. I have been a GM of a Restaurant and my family own franchises in Ohio clearly I know what I’m talking about. I asked him Not to insult my intelligence and told him of my experience. This is the 2nd Time this man has been Rude. The other time he didn’t like the way I ordered my wrap and told me how to order the next time. I am a Guest Not his Employee. I had ordered that wrap Many times with employees and No one had ever Been Rude but The Owner. Furthermore I have seen him treat elderly people Rude at the Cash Register and basically yelled at an old Man. He accused me today of giving him a bad review about the way he told me to order but I had Never wrote a Review to Any restaurant until TODAY!!! In today’s economy I would think Owner or Managers Would appreciate Regular Customers. I grew up in an Era where the Customer is Always right clearly this Owner/ Manager doesn’t agree and is...
Read moreMy family has been coming here for 12 years. When my mother was sick in the hospital, she couldn’t keep anything down but desperately needed to eat sodium. We decided to come here and get all her salty comfort foods - bagels, nova, soups, etc. She took her time meds at a certain time, assuming we would eat at a certain time. We told the guy, who we’ve known for years, about it as we were ordering (spent a small fortune). He gave us our bags, and we drove back to the hospital. There, we realized he made the ‘set ups’ for the food in the container (lettuce tomato etc), but forgot to put the food in! So I drove the half hour back to get it. When I got there, and said, ‘where’s the rest of our order?’ He said, ‘oh, it’s just sitting over there.’ When the server handed me the food, she said, ‘well, it happens.’ NOT ‘we are sorry’ (never apologized for the giant blunder.) In the meanwhile, it meant my mother, very ill in the hospital, ate an hour later than she was supposed to, and got sicker. It also meant that the only hour I had to spend with my mother in the hospital before returning to work, I had to spend dealing with these people, who behaved like total jerks about it. Even if they didn’t majorly screw up and have crappy attitudes about, there are plenty of bagel places where three bagels with lox won’t cost...
