Marshalls — Local services in Delray Beach

I came in to Marshall’s to do a return tonight and I love this location but tonight I had an unpleasant experience. Patricia the cashier called me over firstly didn’t greet me and I handed her my items and told her I’m doing a return the tag wasn’t on the item because it came off while trying it on. She proceeds to tell me she can’t take it because the tag isn’t attached? I’ve never heard any foolishness like that before, I’ve worked in retail and even Marshall’s in the past and they take returns as long as you have the tag and receipt so idk what she was talking about. The manager came over as they proceeded to speak in Spanish which was disrespectful because I’m not a Spanish speaker and had no clue what was being said in front of me. He told her she could proceed with the return after he looked up the item in the scanner system. Absolutely ridiculous she said the return couldn’t be taken when I know that isn’t the policy. Employees need to be trained properly to know what they are doing and talking about with the customer and greet you. Very unpleasant...

A year later, still fantastically friendly and engaged customer service at every point of contact. Clearly detailed attention given to sanitization and keeping things safe for both the employees and the customers.

The two greeting ladies at the door are always pleasant (over several interactions this past month). Miss Marguerite is always an angel on every level (including today) and Sabrina was priceless (and perfectly personable!) in helping me choose & in arranging the logistics around delivery for two...

Same old, same old, nothing really changed. Actually, styles of clothes gotten worse. As always not a whole lot to buy. Lots of grandma styles. Their clearance/sales sections are actually full of broken/damaged items that should be written off not clearance. Everything they sell is a buck or more than TJ or Ross. And im talking about identical items &/or similar quality. They really need to do something about these Marshalls stores. I think TJ stores improved so much & they have better buyers, that makes Marshalls...
