very horrible experience from calling to make a pick up order to going in with a birthday coupon. I was sent a birthday coupon came into my local habit burger and I order tell the young man I have a coupon. I get my total and my burger isn't free. Young man tries to explain to me regarding the "value" of the burger (with an attitude cause now he has to explain to me why I'm being charge for the burger) he says I'm being charged for cheese. I said ok pay look at my coupon its a free charburger with cheese so i mentioned but wait the coupon is for cheese. I ask them to void this transaction something isn't honest. The employee cant explain to me why I'm being charged for the burger. Then the manager older white man ( i wont call him a gentleman) comes with the "value" amount of my coupon isn't the value of my burger i got a charburger with cheese coupon i order a bbq charburger with cheese. 1 the coupon has no mention of "value" or that it excludes any items on the menu regarding burgers. Then i tell him repeatedly to void my transaction i have my child here and I refuse to argue about a burger. The Manager had other plans he didn't care my child was with me. He wanted to berate me as if i was the angry customer arguing over a burger Asked for his name (still didn't get it) had to call a a separate number for a refund( a number he happen to have to go in the back for, talks under his breath walking away) an hour spent wasted dealing with the call center and then walking into the habit burger not one person from the call center to management could properly or professionally explain to me the coupon i had in hand. I have never been to habit burger and i never will again. I took myself off your mailing list. No-one deserves to be treated the way the manager acted to a Mother asking to do what he needs to do because i have a child and I wont argue. I left with no food and no refund and now will have to hope and pray in 8 days my money is returned. All they had to do was tell me help me with my coupon I would have no problem choosing a burger that my coupon covered. But instead attitude, berate and humiliation is what was served up today at habit burger happy...
Read moreTried Habit for lunch. Your order is made to order which is a big plus compared to countless eateries (8 or 9) nearby known as Junk Food Blvd. on Linton Blvd. between S. Federal H'way and SW. 10th Ave. After that imo, Habit joins the ranks of other inexpensive franchised eateries we'll want to avoid.
My son ate his kid burger and fries. He was hungry. The fries were very hot but lacked taste except for the salt. My husband ordered a double burger with cheese and avocado on sour dough toast known as Santa Barbara Style. It's a large sandwich looking good but the burgers were tasteless, boring meat. American cheese is not cheese but classified as cheese food being only 51% cheese, rest additives. Even the avocado was not a slice, it was a creamy mash also very little taste.
I had a mushroom burger also completely boring and tasteless. Habit says its burgers are 100% beef but what additives are included or is the meat domestic? How do you cook a burger to taste boring?
We tried their assortment of 3 iced teas. The citrus green tea was terrible. It was watery with very little flavor. My husband dumped it. The tropical tea was also watery and was dumped. The black tea was ok. The strawberry lemonade was also very watery. Whom in house is doing the tea blending needs lessons in making tea that customers will like and drink. Or is the franchise taker cutting corners to save royalties to California HQ? Seriously for the same cost we gave Habit we'd rather next time eat at BurgerFi on A1A being many times better when looking for this type of eatery. The only thing I can say was acceptable was my son's burger bun. It was sweet but had a better consistency and density than other fast food burger buns that are mostly air. But who goes to a burger bar...
Read moreI ordered a plain Bacon Cheese Burger and a Plain Bacon Chicken Sandwich. When my order was ready I brought it to my table. I noticed both orders had everything on it including Mayo Lettuce and tomato with only a half a slice of Bacon. I went back to the counter and what I got was nothing but a terrible attitude. She would not listen to me and walked away I asked for the manager and she refused to get him. I stood there and told her to finish with me before she starts a new order and again I was ignored. Meanwhile, I looked at my receipt and noticed how expensive my chicken was $13.76 for a chicken combo. When the manager came out of his office I complained about the bad attitude and he just shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn't get staff. I guess inexperience ignorant and rude staff is what you can expect at Habit Grill. He had the staff make a fresh order. I asked him why my chicken combo was so expensive and his reply was that's the price of chicken now. My Sandwich was wrong a second time, also I couldn't believe how minuscule the amount of chicken was on my sandwich. For the sake of my son and my frustration I let it go. I went online and did my chicken combo survey Burger King Chicken Combo $9.99 Mcdonald`s Chicken Combo $7.20 Chick Fill A Chicken Combo $9.85 Kentucky Chicken Combo $8.29 Arby's Chicken Combo $8.99 . Obviously, the manager hasn't got a clue about the price of chicken. What I got at The Habit was the worst chicken sandwich ever, all these other places serve much...
