I'm the owner and what is really irritating is when people just post a rating and give no explanation for it.....this is for people to express their opinion of what you experienced and these people out there that post reviews if you notice they are actually being paid to write reviews! My best suggestion is come try us for yourself and make your own opinion! 04/05/19 Unfortunately Google will no longer let me respond to reviews on this website unless I pay them, so I'm just adding to my post and respond to the reviews in this manner. There is one posted last night stating something about us using frozen cheese.....this is far from the truth, please don't post something that you know nothing about, my restaurant gets our mozzarella cheese in 6# blocks and is refrigerated upon arrival. We shred our own cheese here as needed. Our dough is made fresh every day, nothing is frozen as far as our pizzas go. 7/31/19 To Brian Morgan.....you called and complained about the pineapple on your pizza and I offered to make it right for you by asking you what you wanted me to do for you and you got very abrasive and didn't want anything but just wanted to complain.....so in the interim you posted a negative review at which time I sent you the expiration date of the can of pineapple your order came from....which I understand that you can't always go by expiration dates but in this case the pineapple wasn't due to expire until 2021......So given that I informed you that people that post negative reviews without including the facts are now subject to a libel suit for defamation and or slanderous of a business. It's already been proven that, via a lawsuit filed in Deland against a business where the person that posted a negative review without posting FACTS was sued and it wound up costing that person $26000 for slandering a business. I always work with my customers! I myself took the phone call from the person posting the review and was very cordial and he was very understanding given the fact we were closing in 20 minutes. I did offer to remake it for him. I did give him a discount for his next order and he was satisfied with that. However even after our conversation he still posts something that is not how things went. I always work with my customers to resolve all issues! In response to Brian Logan 07/31/2019....I don't know what more I can do for you and to just blow me off and post this is irresponsible and defame me as a owner...I've tried reaching out to you and you won't hear it and hung up on me....be careful what you post! 08/30/2019 In response to Arnaldo Rosario's post.....I'm the owner of Italiano's Pizza and you posted a review on Google. You made a blanket statement that people are rude but which people are you referring to? There are a lot of rude people out there and my staff is very friendly, but you posted a blanket statement with no explanation! As far as cleanliness you can look up on the Florida Dept of Restaurants and Hotels website and look at my health inspections since I have owned it almost 7 years! I would appreciate much better itemized problems that you may have witnessed so I can correct them! I It is unfair to my business to just put a post like this with no explanation! 09/06/19 To Lisa Grenier....what are you talking about? My menu has been the same for the last 5 yrs nothing has...
Read morePerhaps it was my mistake going in not long after they opened on new years day, but I was very disappointed with my last visit to Italianos. Let me start by saying I usually have a good experience and good food when I order from here. This time was not even close. I called in and placed my order for pick up. I wanted a medium pie half cheese/ half pepperoni and meatball, 10 wings mild and a small order of garlic knots. As usual I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrive, give my name and pay for the food. The counter attendant comes back and tells me that the printer in the kitchen in broken and they had not started the wings yet. She tells me it should take about 6 minutes. I stand there waiting for the wings to be done while my pizza sits on top of the oven in a box. The wings are finished, boxed up, and put into a bag with the dressings. The attendant walks over to me with the pizza box and the bagged wings, telling me I was ready to go. At this point I asked if the garlic knots were in the box with the pizza. Suprised, the attendant is unsure of what garlic knots I am asking about and has to go look up the order receipt to confirm. Once again she goes to the cook and tells her that they need an order of knots. The cooks replies " now I'm sure I already made this order". Even though I can see a fresh batch in the oven, she pulls my rolls out of a refrigerator and plops them in a small oven to be reheated. After a total of 25 minutes, not including the original 20 minutes from preorder, I was given my food again and sent on my way. By the time I got home and was ready to eat my pizza room temp and rubbery, the garlic knots looked burnt on the outside but quite cold inside, and the wings were undercooked. If I had not already had such a stressful time just getting my food I would have gone back and demanded a refund or the food to be remade.
The worst part of the whole experience is that no one even apologized or made any attempt to make up for the inconvenience. They just kept blaming the kitchen printer being broken or claiming that the food was already made but misplaced. They walked back and forth and passed me as though I weren't even there. It truly is a shame to be treated like this at a place that I frequent quite regularly. It is the only pizza place I go to in Deltona but perhaps that...

My husband and I were looking for a locally owned pizzeria in Deltona and came across Italiano's New York Pizza on Google Maps. We wanted to support a cute mom-and-pop shop, and this place did not disappoint!
From the moment we pulled up, I could tell this place was special. The interior is beautifully updated, giving it a modern and welcoming vibe. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the sight of pizzas being made fresh behind the scenes, which adds to the authentic atmosphere. The entire place was spotless, including the bathrooms, which were in pristine condition.
We decided to stay and dine in, seating ourselves in the restaurant area. The setup is cozy, with TVs on the walls and a cute little window where you can watch your food being prepared. Our server was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, including keeping our Diet Cokes refilled without us having to ask.
We opted for the lunch special, which includes two slices of pizza and a soda. We added extra toppings—pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapenos—and the total was very reasonable. The pizza arrived quickly, and I was relieved that it tasted fresh and hot, not like it had been sitting out. The crust was perfectly buttered, and the homemade sauce was delicious, with visible tomato peels adding a nice touch of authenticity.
One of the highlights of our visit was meeting Matt, one of the partner owners. His passion for pizza is evident—he's been in the business for over 30 years and still takes the time to greet every customer. He shared that he makes the dough and sauce from scratch, and you can really taste the difference.
If I had one tiny suggestion, it would be to use fresh jalapenos instead of the pickled ones, but that's just my personal preference. Honestly, it's hard to find anything to critique about this place. The service was quick (perfect for a lunch break), the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming with plenty of natural light.
For just $10, I got two delicious slices loaded with toppings, and they even provided extra marinara sauce and hot wing sauce for free. It's a fantastic spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a sit-down meal. We’ll definitely be...
