On Labor Day I picked up my kids from a relative in Orlando where it wasnāt raining. My kids said they were hungry on our way home and this Wendy's is right off of the on/off ramp of I4. I normally donāt go to this location but it was the closest. It was pouring rain, not a light drizzle but a down pour. I initially left my window rolled down when I came up to the drive thru window. As I was waiting on my drinks and food my entire inside of my driver door, left side driver seat and left side of my body was getting completely soaked so as I waited I rolled up my window. Normally I donāt do that but considering the circumstances in this case I did. Well by doing this, it angered the manager as he attempted to hand me our drinks. After I grabbed the drinks I over heard him telling another employee that he hates when people roll up the window while waiting and stated āgirl why donāt you just stay homeā. Itās pouring rain and I have my kids in the car so I decided to pick my battles and instead called the store and asked to speak the the manager and of course he answered and asked if he could help. I told him he had done enough and I wanted the GMās number. He provided me with her number as well as the district manager. I called both and left voicemails but have yet to hear from either of them. Iāve been in customer service for almost 20 years and have never been talked to so rudely and would never think to talk to another customer like that. This generation is so disrespectful, rude and entitled. If you canāt be kind and understanding to your customers you shouldnāt be in customer service let alone be a manager. She said āSo plain?ā, she didnāt seem to hear me so I spoke louder and repeated, she kept saying āSo plain?ā, I said I donāt know what you mean by plain but I want everything they come with except the tomatoes and the sauce on those sandwiches. I paid, got my order and itās not what I asked for. Burgers come with lettuce, onions and pickles. I repeatedly said everything except tomatoes and sauce. I had to repeat myself several times. (Tomato is a nightshade, ketchup has nightshade in it and Iām intolerant, I donāt explain this.) My burgers were burger and bun. Why is it so hard to get good customer service? I was polite. We ordered our food when we get home to start eating, The Dave's double was burnt bread and the meat was extremely hard and it was missing condiments on top of the sandwich I got a biggie bag junior bacon cheeseburger and the bacon on the burger was extremely burnt. it was not even busy I was tired I've been working all day but I had to go back up there because nobody would answer the phone. Went back up there and they were very rude everybody was standing around in a circle, I told the girl on drive window what happened and she said oh the burger came like this with a bite gone? š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬ and this young kid comes to the window I guess he was the manager and he offered to give me a refund once I showed him what they are gave me to eat didn't even refund me for the proper amount that I was first charge and the girl didn't even give me my receipt the first time.
