The staff is incredibly attentive without being overbearing, our server Ivan took excellent care of us, making sure we feel taken care of while still letting us enjoy your meal at our own pace. Hands down, probably the best salsa I’ve had in Baton Rouge—and I don’t say that lightly. They also serve a Paloma that’s not just delicious but comes dressed to impress, with Tajín running dramatically down the side of the glass like it’s auditioning for a telenovela.

We ordered the elotes locos, which, let me tell you, are not messing around. Easily enough for four people… but since it was just me and my wife, we ate it all. By the time the main course showed up, we were already halfway into a food coma.

I went with the quesabirria. The birria meat itself was perfectly tender, and the consommé was so good I considered drinking it straight (don’t worry, I only thought about it). The cheese was a little different than I’m used to, so I’ll probably skip that part next time, but the tortilla was beautifully crispy and still worth ordering.
