This Chili's location is absolutely horrible!!!! The last 3 times I've visited this located it has taken over 3 hours from the time I've walked in the door, till the time I've walked out. Last time it was my son and I and the 2 other times I had 3 people.
I ordered guacamole for appetizer with chips and salsa. For entree the chicken fajitas, cajun chicken pasta(to go) and burger bites kids meal with fries for my son. And for dessert the cookie skillet with ice cream.
Guacamole come barely mashed up with a whole pickled jalapeño rather than fresh jalapeño, no cilantro and so little lime it was hardly testable. The server actually apologized ans said that it was clearly made incorrectly and brought the items to the table for me to add to the dish myself!
I asked for the chicken fajitas to be cooked very well done. The chicken doesn't even look brown. The tortillas shells were HORRIBLE and so hard the broke in half when I hit them on the table. !!! I asked for more and they were much better.
The chicken pasta was very good but did not have extra alfredo like I requested.
burger bites had very hard bread and the fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease and were gross.
I ordered the cookie and waited about 20 minutes only to have the waiter come over and ask if everything was correct with the bill. I replied yes but we're still waiting for our dessert. He then said "oh yea, I forgot yall wanted that to go"...um no, we didn't but good job trying to rush us out of here! So then we had to wait even longer to get the cookie. When it did come out the ice cream was the consistency of whipped cream, infact that's what my son kept calling it.
Anyway, it was a horrible experience and about equivalent to the same experience as the 2 times prior. I love Chili's but this location really needs to figure out how to get their act together. No one wants to have this kind of experience....especially multiple times in a row 😡
Also, as a side note, the divider plexiglass was absolutely disgusting along with the bathroom and entry to kitchen. Unfortunately, I forgot to get a photo of the bathroom and...
Read moreMy wife, myself, and my 4 year old son just had the worst experience at chilis in denham springs. We walk in, there's no wait and we get seated immediately. We order our drinks and they arrive. We order our appetizer and our sons chicken pasta. 15 minutes go by, our waiter comes back to order our food. We chose the cajun pasta and the sante fe burger. Sounds not that complicated. Finally after almost 45 minutes go by. All our food comes out at one time, including our appetizer and my sons meal we ordered almost as soon as we sat down. If you are a parent you know how it is to deal with a hungry baby having to sit in one spot growing restless by the second. Now we are displeased because our sons meal came out so late and now by the time we ate our appetizer, our meals were cold!! As you could see the irritation on our faces, an employee sits in the booth next to us and orders and all comes out fast and correct. The cherry on top was to over hear the employees gossiping about my wife complaining to the waiter, and LAUGHING ABOUT IT RIGHT NEXT TO US!! Not to mention the entire time the employee is sitting next to us, multiple managers and other employees stop and are having entire conversations. All the while we have just wanted to get our food in the correct order. I and my family will definitely think twice before going back to...
Read moreMy husband & I were regulars at this Chili's until last night. The hostess handed 2 menus to another girl who led us to a high top table. My husband is a disabled veteran with an injured ankle and couldn't sit at a high top. We told this to the girl and asked for a regular table. She got mad, didn't say a word, did something at the hostess stand and led us to a table in the bar where she threw the menus down and walked off. We waited 10 minutes. Other people who came behind us got seated and waited on. None of the staff would even look at us. My only guess is that the regular manager wasn't there because the service is usually good. This was unacceptable. Nobody, especially a disabled veteran, should be treated this way. When we left, the hostess and the girl that seated us and treated us like dirt were standing by the door and totally ignored us. We went to Chili's down the road at Millerville. They were nice to us. Never going back. If Chili's management reads this: I hope you teach your hostesses and servers to treat people with respect. We were not trying to be difficult. My husband lives in constant pain with his ankle and the high top would have made it worse. It was not personal even though the mean girl chose to take it that way. I guess we "inconvenienced" her and she wanted to get back at us. NOT good...
