We've ordered takeout curbside orders 3 times. The first time was months ago. They said it wouldbe ready in 20 minutes, so I got there in 20 minutes exactly. I waited almost 30 minutes after arriving and calling the number on the sign outside. When I called the number the young lady said the bartender was busy with customers but as soon as he was free, he would bring our order out. Seemed odd but whatever. They looked busy so I gave them a pass and thought it probably rarely happens. Next time I thought, I'll give them an extra 10 minutes. So next time, they said 20 minutes. So I arrived in 30 minutes. Called the number. Took about 15 minutes to bring the order out. A little long but again, they looked busy. Then we have today. 20 minutes they said. So I arrived in 30 minutes, called the number. Young lady said it would be out shortly and asked what spot I was in. 30 minutes pass and I'm fairly aggravated but I see everyone who has arrived after I did is still waiting too so since misery loves company I decided to cool my jets for a bit longer. Another almost 15 minutes pass then I see a young girl coming out with an order and I'm ready to celebrate. Nope. She gives it to someone in a pickup that was the most recent arrival. That was one toke over the line. So I called the pickup number again. Same young lady that always answers. I voiced my concern and asked that they either credit my credit card or bring my food out immediately. She said my order was indeed ready and she would have it out shortly. In hindsight I should have asked what her idea of shortly was because it was another 10 minutes plus before a young lady brought my order. Actually she tried to give it to another vehicle before getting to my truck but at least I finally had my stuff. At this point its been just about one hour that I've been sitting in that parking lot. Now if anyone is reading this and thinking, why don't you just go inside and get your stuff?? Well I didn't come dressed to go inside a nice steakhouse. I'm in basketball shorts, crocs, and a wife beater shirt. Although I turned 50 this year and acknowledge that probably my best years are behind me, I do have a modicum of dignity left. So anyway, I finally have my order. Not even an apology or acknowledgement that I've been forced to people watch in their parking lot for an hour. I didn't check my order for accuracy because at this point it isn't going to be worth waiting for a correction if its wrong. The bag felt cold. Maybe they store the takeout bags in the refrigerator I pondered. Nope. Apparently my order had in fact been sitting on a counter for a long time. The only thing slightly warm was my wife's steak and my mac n cheese. And I mean slightly warm. My steak was cold. Not room temperature. It was actually kind of cool. So when I get home 15 minutes later my wife calls to complain and demand our money back. I myself was not even caring about that as I knew I was never going to be in that parking lot again unless I was running through it to get away from zombies. The calling to complain turns out to be nearly as frustrating as waiting for takeout. My wife called and asked for the manager. Well they forgot her on hold, lol. Same young lady that put her on hold answered the phone after 5 minutes. Wife is back on hold, this time with an assurance that the manager will be on soon. So a few minutes later the manager has to listen to my irate wife demanding justice. He offered a refund and gift cards. Gift cards to another round of aggravation and cold food? No thank you. Just the refund please. Its a shame because their food is very good. However, so good that its worth that kind of aggravation? Not even close. Outback is 5 minutes from our home and...
Read moreWell where do I start.... we had not been in a while so we decided to go for lunch today and enjoy a delicious steak like every other time we have been here. When we walked into the front door, the waiting area not even the front door to restaurant, there was this foul smell. I looked at my husband and said what is that smell? We then entered the restaurant and I looked back at him and said I smell sour milk. Like the smell of sour milk on a baby that has sat there for a few hours.. it reaked.. I then looked down and at 1135am on a Sunday the floor was filthy. They obviously had not cleaned the floors nor the carpet in a few days.. we sat down despite the looks I was giving my husband and ordered our drinks. My favorite drink here is the Black and Blue.. Waiter brings the drinks, and if you ever ordered this drink you know it comes in the shaker they make it in so u get like 2 for one. Well he pours it into my glass and there was no blackberries nor any blueberries and it was very pale. Not like it usually is. I didn't say anything figured it was just a different bartender and it tasted very good. I drank half of it and proceeded to pour the rest out the shaker and it was nothing but blackberry syrup. They hadn't even shook it to mix the ingredients. Called waiter over and he said oh my, and got me another one which was perfect and even had my fruit I was missing from the first one. We ordered our appetizers and they were perfect! We got our salads, again, perfect! We get our steaks đ I like my Ribeye Medium well and hubby ordered Medium Outlaw Ribeye. Mine was very well done and hubbys was rare in half the steak. Mine was so dry couldn't even eat it. Hubby ate half that was almost rare but had to stop becuz he couldn't stomach it anymore. Waiter came over and asked the wrong question... How Is Everything? Lawt please allow me to keep my mouth shut. I can be a bit much.. so I just shook my head and didn't make eye contact. Hubby did however take over and told him about the steaks and asked for the check. Waiter said give me a second, came back and asked me if I wanted dessert?! Umm again shook my head no and continued to stare at the table biting my tongue.. he left again and came back this time with check and said manager took off $16... Wow... well thank you so much for that! What would we have done if not for that discount... seriously.... we will NOT be back. Sad really.. My favorite place to get a steak. You would think being it's a STEAK RESTAURANT THEY WOULD KNOW HOW TO FIX A STEAK... MANAGER NEEDS TO BE BOOTED... He/She never even came to the table to see if there was anything they could do to rectify the situation... with social media these days businesses need to think smarter that we will tell about this. Word of mouth and either ruin you or it will make you..... Very Very disappointed. The place was nasty, it smelled nasty and the food was less than...
Read moreWe took our 14u softball team there after playing ball all day, we even called ahead to make sure they could accommodate a party of 35-40 people. They assured us they could we would just have to sit in different tables, which was fine with us. We called ahead to let them know we were in they way again not to surprise them. We get there and get seated the players and two booths parents and a bar top of 6 dad's in the bar area and then a group of 18 in the far back. I was seated with the group in the far back. We had a young lady with long blonde hair that was a very respectful and spot on waitress. Our food was good, we got refills and bread in a timely manner even as busy as she was. One of the players came back to our table to see her mother because she was hungry and when we ask what did she order, she told us and then she told us she hadn't even gotten her food yet.. it had been almost 2 hours since they ordered. We had ordered after them, eaten and paid and we're getting ready to leave. They still had NO FOOD!! I went and talked to my husband, the coach. He had no food and the rest of the men at the bar top table did but the kids didn't. He told me how rude the waitress had been to them and that the players had requested refills and couldn't get them even though they asked for them repeatedly. He also, asked for more bread and didn't get any for almost 40 minutes. We have gone to Longhorn's in many different states and have never had this poor service before. I understand that we were a big party but we called ahead to make sure they could handle us. If they couldn't they should have said so because we would have went somewhere else. We had tickets that were charged for the wrong steaks and food over cooked and very upset parents that just wanted to get their kids and get out of there. One of your waiters even came out of the back and confronted one of our mothers questioning what she had said to someone by asking " Did you say something about me?" . And she wasn't talking about him, to him or anything because I was sitting there, but he came out of the kitchen and got right up in her face. It was extremely unprofessional and your Manager never apologized for anything or even tried to make everything better for these parents or players. I will not recommend this location âšď¸âšď¸ because of this Manager and those two rude workers which is a shame. Because there are so e good waitresses that work there and she was tipped by me well that night because she deserved it for the service she provided. Those two deserved what they got from the tips.... We will return to Livingston/Denham Springs to play softball again but we will not ever return to this restaurant to eat due to the poor management and some of the rude staff that he...
