Rodeo Goat | Denton, TX 🤠🔥 We showed up for the weird vibes—an offbeat, industrial-cowboy building that somehow perfectly fits in Denton’s quirky heart. But what kept us at the table (and planning a return trip before we even left)? The food. Deliciously strange, wildly inventive food. 🍳 "Steaming Pile" Don’t let the name scare you—it’s jalapeño-cheddar tots covered in melted cheddar, crispy bacon, chive goat cheese, and a sunny-side-up fried egg, all hit with a dash of truffle oil and served with Ranchero dressing that deserves its own award. It’s messy, bold, and ridiculously good. Texas brunch chaos at its finest. 🌶 The Cortez A burger that eats like a dare—only it's the best decision you’ll make all week. Al Pastor pork, chopped onions, cilantro, Rodeo Goat pickles, and spicy lime mayo stacked on a bun that’s rolled in Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The crunch. The heat. The absurd perfection. It’s not just food—it’s a fire-breathing experience. 🍓 The Sugar Britches Sweet and savory, flirty and fierce. A beef patty paired with bacon, mixed berry jalapeño jam, goat cheese, arugula, and a kiss of balsamic glaze. This burger walks a fine line between elegant and unapologetically extra—and sticks the landing. 🧀 Goat Balls Yes, the name gets a laugh—but these are no joke. Deep-fried brie-filled bites, lightly dusted with powdered sugar, and served with a rich, fruity blackberry dipping sauce. It’s sweet-meets-savory decadence that somehow makes perfect sense in your mouth. Like a cheese plate and a carnival had a delicious baby. We ordered them to "try something different" and ended up emotionally attached. We sat on the patio, took in the Denton weather, and let Rodeo Goat feed our tastebuds and our inner food weirdos in the best way. Final Word from Nova: Rodeo Goat isn’t here to be ordinary—and thank goodness for that. The menu is chaotic genius, the food is ridiculous in the most lovable way, and every bite is an adventure. Rating: 🏚️ Vibe: 10/10 – funky, fun, and weird in the right way 🍳 Steaming Pile: 8/10 – top-tier tot chaos 🔥 The Cortez: 7/10 – spicy crunch legend 🍓 Sugar Britches: 8/10 – jammy bliss 🧀 Goat Balls: 9/10 – dessert, app, life-changer 🌤️ Patio: 10/10 – Denton dream hangout Bottom line? If you’re not a little confused by what you just ordered, you’re doing Rodeo Goat wrong. Get weird. Get the Goat Balls. And prepare to fall in love.

I love Rodeo Goat. It is one of my fav burger joints around. We were in Denton today and on way back we decided to go here with some friends. This is the first time we had been to this location. Just as usual the food is out of this world fantastic. Honestly a bit disappointed in the “VS”. Users as they didn’t sound as good as other times, but the bodacious is always a great selection and my wife loves the ranch burger What was odd was the service. It was pretty empty even at 6pm and we had about 10 with us and the waiter was shocked at that big a party. Some wanted appetizers but he started to come and ask but stopped. When he came to get drinks he would take two, stop to get them, take three, stop and get them, and repeat. It was not annoying but odd behavior. Same thing kept happening all night when it was time to order or try to pay. Prob an off night for him, nothing negative about it just strange My daughter LOVED the outside feature that was “inside” the place. It was cool to take a few steps and be outside with some comfy chairs and a cool tree inside. Overall great times here as normal.

This place just opened so it's very busy. The staff is plentiful with lots of employees willing to help with any questions. The service was absolutely amazing. I would have loved if the menu had pictures of the items or at least provided a QR code with links to menu items so you can see what you are getting. Overall, the food was pretty good. Chips were a bit hard, but the qeso was delicious. The chicken fried cheese looked so good, however, be aware that it is extremely salty. If you like salty, you will love it. If not, please avoid trying this item. The nora Jones burger was excellent, and so was the royal burger. The burgers were top-notch but a bit on the small side when you compare it to similar burger places in this price range. Fries are not included with any burger. The draft beer selection wasn't the best. Blue Moon needs to be on tap at a burger place, in my opinion. The atmosphere is very cool with lots of little conversation pieces on the wall. Expect to pay about 60-70 dollars for 2 with an appetizer and one drink a piece.

About two years ago I visited the location in Dallas as my first experience and, hands down, had an untouchable experience with service and food, even with an hour wait. So much so, I’ve raved about the place to others and suggested it often. So when I drove by the Denton location, I literally shrieked with excitement and took my daughter two days later. We visited last night. Absolutely no wait during a Dallas game on a Saturday. The hostess looked annoyed we were there. She didn’t even say “hello” when we walked in. Or “how many” or anything…as I approached the counter. She was texting on her phone. I spoke first and waited for her to say “how many” or “this way” or something. So I said “just us” and pointed to my daughter. She grabs menus and walks away from her station so I just followed as I assumed I was supposed to. The energy was not like Dallas. Totally different vibe. Their workers are happy and energetic. The waiter was kind but soft spoken. When ordering, it was awkward as I asked about the kids burger. He said “it’s pretty small” so I gestured the size of the one in Dallas with my hands, he said “yea small”. So when the order comes, I asked was there Mayo on my burger and he shrugs “I don’t know” so I asked for a side. I ordered off the menu he took so I couldn’t recall. But what waiter doesn’t know the menu items. My daughters kids burger was half the size of the kids burger in Dallas. It was served black on the outside and pink on the inside. Literally looked like a hockey puck on bread. My daughter wouldn’t eat one side of it because it was so pink. Cooked very uneven. Mind you, I specified well done for mine, thinking the kid burger would naturally be that like most restaurants. Nope. Not even cooked right. The fries didn’t seem fresh but still as good as I remembered. While I could’ve complained at the restaurant, but when dealing with such nonchalant attitudes, I know the outcome couldn’t be much better. Overall, the food, energy and experience in Denton is not comparable to the Dallas location. I was too excited to have a local one but the drive to Dallas is by...

Went to the Denton location for the first time. Arrived requested to place a to go order was sent to the bar by a very friendly server. Sat there for a minute and a young lady I think her name was Reagan(she was friendly) came by asked us for our order gave us a few minutes to look at the menu after realizing it was our first time and we were ordering to go. We finally placed our order about five minutes later ordered two burgers, 1 order of fries , and the pumpkin goat balls total 46. And some change. I can’t tell you the exact amount because I was never given a receipt she gave me the total verbally and I gave her $50 and said keep the change. I thought I would get a receipt when my order was complete but that didn’t happen. Received my order 15 minutes later walked to the car checked the bag I was missing the pumpkin goat balls, went back and they gave me a fresh order.

Got home and tried the food EVERYTHING WAS A 10/10. We ordered turkey burgers I had the Mckamala my husband created his own turkey burger double patties , fried egg, avocado and all the fixings . THE BEST BURGER IVE EVER HAD IN TEXAS. Everything was soooooo fresh and not processed the texture of the turkey patties were amazing!! The fries PERFECT amount of seasoning but the Pumpkin Goat Balls had my eyes rolling in the back of my head ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Was this meal a little pricey yes but was it worth it????? HELL YEAH!! Can’t wait to go back it was soooooooo freakin good. The only reason I gave them a 3 for service is because I didn’t receive a receipt and I had to go back to get the desert I paid for. Otherwise they would have received a 5 from me. Go check them out you will not be...
