Zalat Pizza — Restaurant in Denton

Ok I need to warn yall about reaper roulette lol. I ordered it under the impression that they would just add a slice of another specialty pizza as like some sort of sampling option....so i ordered the pepperoni for my kids,  wasnt really in the mood for pizza but I was planning on trying whatever they chose to surprise me with. Smh. I open the box,  and see a full pepperoni pizza.  Check my receipt, and just thought oh well I guess they messed up. I went ahead and grabbed the biggest slice and start chomping away, I wanted to eat it fast and get on with my life and shortly after, my soul left my body and the beer I planned to sip along with it got chugged like I was 17 again. I ran to the fridge got almond milk,  didn't work, started to run my tongue under the tap, didn't work. All I gotta say is I'm glad I chose the demon slice bc I would have never forgave myself if my  one of my babies grabbed it lol...

Order here ordered an XL cost about $30 with delivery fees the pizza was only 10 inches. There was only 3 pepperonis on it that’s all...I ordered an all meat.

The taste was not good very little sauce the crust was very dry and not like crispy like it took the moister out of your mouth. Almost no sauce on it.

That was the first time...

The second time I picked up. We figured maybe just a bad day that have good reviews let’s try it again.

Well that was a mistake..... this one was smaller and there was more meat this time the crust some how got worse... I called an complained they said, your tastebuds are not our problem and hung up... be warned. There better options out there do not let the higher rating trick you. I’m pretty sure it’s just employees leaving the reviews has to be there no way people think this place is any...

A friend told me to try this place. After working 12 hours on my Birthday I ordered takeout ahead and had to wait anyway only to have them try to give me a burnt pizza. If I had paid for it without opening the box, I would have driven home to find that wonderful surprise. Here's a suggestion, don't serve people food you know is burnt. Have some standards and if you don't care because you are only working at a restaurant until your tik tok career blows up, then find some non service industry to kill time in. It's been a while since I worked in food prep, and I had very long hair then, but I would pull it back and contain it. Everyone making the pizzas here had their hair down. Maybe they should do a contest where you win a half price burnt crust pizza if you are the lucky customer to find a pink or green hair...
