First I want to say I have been traveling for 80 hours straight because of a dire family emergency, I needed a well past due break and rest. I walked through Denver airport and found this bar it was tucked away by the A-60 plus gates. I sat and ordered a beer, some food and sat with the bright eyed bartender Ali. Only if you knew what I’ve been going through, this little bar was a total delight, great customer service, the bartender was extremely attentive to not only me but every patron that came through. She knew when to chitchat and when to take care of business. She carded everybody, cared for everyone and gave a unique service to each individual. I sat here for hours and witnessed many satisfied travelers come and go because of her service. Ali does her job so well. I left her a nice tip because she truly deserved it plus more. I actually plan on coming back specifically to this bar because I was so pleased with the service and atmosphere over all. And hopefully next time it will be for a good time not a family emergency!! She made my worries small for a moment in time and I really appreciate that. The prices were more than fair and quick service and attentive to details! Please visit and give this bar...
Read moreCame to BB before a flight on concourse A right next to gate A71. The bartenders were extremely rude. I ordered one drink and a glass of water had to ask for the water twice and she seemed annoyed even though I tipped 25% on $21 (which is crazy for a glass of wine). Proceeded to sit down and drink my wine and I watched another bartender be condescending and talk down to the gal at her bar. Shortly after a couple sat down next to me and she was so rude to them they got up and left. Again shortly after 3 girls came and sat down and on her way out from her shift being done she was rude to them and told them not to wait for a server go get your own stuff they appeared upset and left. I fly every two weeks and have never seen such bad service. I couldn’t get the bartender’s name because she had her name tag tucked in her zip up hoodie, but she was slender and wearing glasses and light brown hair, but to be honest, most of the staff behind the bar was very rude and and annoyed they had...
Read moreLet me start by saying - I absolutely hate the Denver airport, haha. It’s so unnecessarily BIG and confusing, but I digress. When you have a 7 hour layover, there’s no better place to kill time than Breckenridge!
Not only did they have a great selection of local brews, and a few non local to boot, they also tote a full bar. Additionally, as far as airport bars go- the prices were VERY fair.
However, this review is less about the bar itself, but more so about the absolutely fabulous Ali! She was incredibly attentive, never leaving me waiting or dry, and had fantastic recommendations for drinks AND music. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to spend 7 hours with! I swear, she was the only thing that made my layover bearable.
Ali, if you see this- I hope that you continue to outshine everyone else I met that day. Also, I still can’t believe that other guy said he HATED Coldplay....
