Cafe Zuri is amazing!!!! Let’s get the no laptop rule out of the way - if all you want to do is sit at a table and work for hours with your one drink, then stop reading. If you’re open to great drinks, European pastries and maybe (but not necessary) making a human connection that day, then read on.
The Coda coffee is really tasty: smooth and not overly roasted. They serve a wide range of beverages, including alcohol. If you’ve never tried Becherovka (a Czech herbal liqueur that has a gingery/cinnamony/clove flavor), treat yourself to a Czech Mule or even a shot in your cup of coffee. Yummy! The owners, Tomas and Marianne, are wonderful and the pastries are all European based recipes with quite a few baked by them! Currently, Thurs-Sat they stay open into the evening where you can come enjoy a nice alcoholic beverage in a chill atmosphere. Nothing on their menu is overpriced.
If you’re not taking your non-alcoholic beverages and tasty pastries to go, since you’re “unplugged” while in Cafe Zuri, it’s amazing what interesting and wonderful people there are all around you that you normally would not talk to if you’re on your computer. Not only are Tomas and Marianne interesting and absolutely wonderful (hint, don’t let Tomas’ sarcasm throw you), but I’ve met a National Geographic photographer, a videographer who’s been in multiple wars, another photographer (who’s work along with his daughter’s are hanging in the cafe) along with many other wonderful, friendly, interesting people. I always leave there happier and more positive about the world we live in than when I came in!
Thanks for doing a local neighborhood coffee shop...

Cafe Zuri is a refreshing break from the usual laptop-laden coffee spots — it's a computer-free zone, which really helps build community and encourages social interactions, so you feel like a real person and not an NPC in a cafe.
If you're looking for a place to work remotely, this isn't it. But if you're craving a warm, welcoming vibe where people actually talk to each other, you're in the right place.
Now, the coffee. Wow. Every cup here feels crafted with intention and care. I tried the rose coffee, and it was absolutely delightful — floral, fragrant, and smooth. It immediately reminded me of rose water, a beloved drink back home in India. The flavor was spot on, like sipping nostalgia in the best way.
The quality of the coffee in general is top-tier — rich, full-bodied, and clearly made from high-quality beans. You can tell they take their coffee seriously, and it pays off in every sip.
If you're in the mood to unplug and savor a really good cup, Cafe Zuri is the...
Read moreStopped by with some friends today and had a great experience! They were busy, but the two talented gentlemen behind the counter handled it expertly, and people were in and out in minutes. That said, I wouldn't have minded a longer wait, because the staff were so friendly and the decor is so fun to look at. I ordered something a bit unusual and the barista double checked the order and had me check the taste before leaving, which was unexpectedly thoughtful. They have a variety of milks, oat, almond, soy, etc. They also serve to go cocktails, which were very tempting! Definitely not somewhere to sit down and study/hang out, unless you're okay with a patio seat. It's more like a walk-up coffee drive thru. But if you're looking for quick, kind service, lots of drink options, and fresh baked bread/pastries, I would highly recommend! Big thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience and a...
