Very unfortunate to leave a poor review but we truly didn’t have a good experience at this restaurant. We had very high hopes because it came highly recommended. We ordered two sandwiches to go on a late Sunday afternoon. We ordered the ahi tuna sandwich and the Cajun chicken sandwich. The wait was at least 35 minutes - we had time to go to Sweet Cow, wait in their line (always a long line), get ice cream to go, and return to Mead St and the sandwiches were still not ready. When they finally were made, we were shocked that each sandwich was half-sized. All the photos in these Google reviews show two half sides of full sandwich. When asking the cashier, he said only the ahi tuna and the Cajun chicken are served in half portions. Ok - why wasn’t that noted? We definitely felt cheated and these sandwiches are not inexpensive. We took these sandwiches home to eat and they did taste fine however the ahi tuna was cooked too rare. It was difficult to chew through the protein. If you had 30+ minutes to make the sandwiches, at least cook the protein properly?! We still don’t know why the Cajun chicken was such a small portion. We weren’t pleased.

TL:DR Food was good. Served in a decent time. Would prefer full table service at these prices. Had the Italian Hot Beef sandwich which was good but not as good as a Portillo's hot beef. Glad I ordered the extra side of Au jus because for what is traditionally and listed as a wet sandwich the bread only had the lightest wipe of Au jus so little that initially I thought they had forgotten it. My Dad has the grilled cheese and tomato soup. He loved it. Also shared the wings with a side of jerk sauce. Both were good. I can't say I have had wings like that before. Had the Green chili margarita. I love green chilies but did not like this drink. Finished it because it was $15 but it was rough however everyone has different taste buds. Food was served quickly but if I am paying $15 for a cocktail and $18 for a sandwich I don't want to have to get up to order or get/refill my water. I know that's just down to personal preference but at those prices I want full service. The staff were friendly Like the atmosphere and really enjoyed the patio.

First timer here! I came with my gal to meet a friend for happy hour. First impressions parking was easy, the restaurant itself is very welcoming and the staff are super friendly. Snagged a couple of seats at the bar ordered some drinks (non alcoholic) and they were all tasty and refreshing. For food we split the burger of the month which was a Southwest burger (very delicious) it’s a double so do be aware! My gal is gluten free and so we got GF buns that were very good as well! We also got an order of house seasoned fries and the mussels which were my favorite! Cooked to perfection and seasoned very nicely. Over all I say 10/10 I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone in the area or for those who are looking for a chill and unique dining experience. Bonus point; it seems like a lot of regulars frequent this spot. Plenty of folks and even the bartenders around us were talking at the bar or at their tables which I thought was super cool.

Came for the first time with some friends and her parents, and we came hungry! Ordered at the front and the server was very nice and recommended me the chicken parm PASTA. It took about 30-45 for our food to come out. For my friends parents who had come earlier, it took about an hour for their wings.

When they came out with my friends food who had also ordered the chicken parm pasta, they came out with a chicken parm sandwich which we all were confused about. They were nice enough to leave it on the table and let us eat it since at this point we would practically eat anything.

Then about 15 minutes later, my food came out except it was also a chicken parm sandwich, which I remember the server hyping up the pasta up so I was also confused. They then went back to kitchen and continued to say they were “working on it”. It took about 20 minutes for that chicken parm pasta to come out and it was good, but expect a tiny amount of bucatini and definitely a lot of chicken lol. It was very underwhelming. My friends chicken parm pasta had to be wrapped to go because at this point we were all sleepy and tired and frustrated that we just wanted to leave, this was like 20 mins later. They were nice enough to take it off the bill but it was confusing because we kept hearing different stuff from different people like we were going to get a gift card, and they were going to take off the whole bill, etc. but it was nice they credited us for that dish.

Overall, it was good food, not the best and not worth the wait but the sandwiches looked good. Would probably not come again and if anyone’s thinking of going for their first time, I recommend not sitting down for a full service meal, just take...

Good Afternoon!

I am writing to you to register my disdain for the subject establishment. Although I have not frequented this bar, the last visit I made was, at the very least, disappointing for a rather, although unconfirmed, disturbing reason.

As an African-American in America today and in the current political climate, just to preface, one can be more vigilant and observant regarding how he or she is treated. Thus, when I entered the bar this afternoon, around 1:00 after my Air Force Officer Training, I decided to have brunch at this establishment. I was not greeted, or otherwise acknowledged. I noticed the bartender (Female, late 20s, 5’8’’, brown hair in high bun), however was paying attention to the bar. This is because a trio of Caucasians entered and were immediately acknowledged by the aforementioned bartender. I decided to walk over to Himchuli (which is outstanding.)

If I received this treatment because of the amount of a pigment in my skin, I speak for all reputable people with integrity when I say that this establishment is disgraceful and should take inventory of how they treat people and why. If this establishment has hired people who have any biases towards any protected class, I urge you to seek the guidance of a professional to ensure that you are not spreading, while implicit, hatred...

This place is a bit of a hidden gem, if hidden in plain view. You go in expecting a bar with some okay food and instead you're met with a solid menu that has seasonal rotations to keep things interesting.

Their cocktails and menu are unique and the prices are lower then they are at similar restaurants. Also worth mentioning are their wings. I'm not really a wing fan, grabbed an order of six for my wing loving husband and I was absolutely blown away! The dry rubs are phenomenal as are the sauces.

We also got the red velvet chicken and waffles, a very unique twist on a popular and sometimes overdone Colorado favorite. The sauce was a bit sweet (duh, cream cheese frosting), but that meant it paired even better with the chicken and bacon.

Their burgers are also great, and they don't skimp on quality or quantity for the price. Also, the fries are incredible. Whether you're going seasoned, sweet potato (recommend it with the chipotle aioli sauce), or garlic and parmesan their fries make a statement. They're not just an add on for a burger meal, they're very enjoyable alone.

Skip Park Burger, which is a chain, and give Mead St Station a try. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Plus, they made the transition to carry out smooth...
