This insanely crazy ordeal was so totally outrageous! Before ordering food, I should have looked up Google reviews for this location, which is only 2.9, while the rest of the local sites are much higher. Our delivery order was the XL Pack and 15-piece smoked chicken wings. The total was $144.66. We chose smoked ribs, sliced beef and chicken for the 3 meats. After the order was accepted and paid for through PayPal, the Dickey’s webpage highlighted the "food was on the way" (3of 4 steps). Soon thereafter they called and said they were out of ribs. We originally requested a refund, but the associate said she didn't know how to do it and needed to call the manager to find out what to do. To make it easier we decided to replace the ribs with half/half pulled pork and sausage. The deliver came pretty fast, but the chicken wings were missing, there wasn't any sauces, napkins or utensils. (my sister's had some BBQ sauce and utensils as seen in the photos). I called back and let them know and they said it's the 3rd party delivery service that didn’t give us all they took. One of many problems is that it said “Dickey’s delivery” not 3rd party. I got in touch with the lady that was driving, and she said she gave us everything she received. The bag had plenty of room for the missing items, so I believed her. I then called Dickey’s back she said the manager will call. A few minutes later the manager called and right away he was very rude and upset. He started explaining about being out of ribs. I let him know that was resolved and the problem was our missing food. He never apologized for the order being wrong and all the confusion. He then accused me of cursing out the employee. I am a Christian and do not curse. I told him that the conversation with the young lady wasn't heated and especially not bad language. She actually acted professional, and I allowed her to try and resolve the issue. He then went on to say his employees don't lie to him which means he just called me a liar. He then told me he would refund the order and to never call this Dickey’s again. I believe he was the one that lied because he assumed since the service was so bad that I must have been mad and cursing. The truth is I believe he’s the one that was angry because he had to deal with this on his off time. Obviously, Management is the problem here. As in, not cooking enough food, having no one onsite that can perform basic manager functions like a refund and being an unprofessional hothead that gets mad at the customer because of this unacceptable way of running a restaurant.

Im from the south and knew there was a great chance of me not being happy with my meal but I was craving bbq. I ordered the brisket sammich combo with baked beans and lemonade. I ordered online and it asked what I sauce I wanted, and I asked for bbq AND extra BBQ sauce. Picked up the order and before leaving, I opened the stapled bag to check for my extra sauce. Saw the sauce in the bag then left. I had no clue that there is absolutely no sauce on the sandwich. So I basically had the lil cup of BBQ sauce when I wanted extra. The lemonade is that found drink lemonade. You only get one side, which I knew, but had to be a sad lil cup of beans with no meat in it. For the price, it should be two sides amd that meat would be better drenched on marinated in the BBQ sauce. The bun was delicious and.buttery tho, I'll give you that. This place is good if you weren't raised in Tennessee, next to Mississippi like me. You don't know good BBQ yet if you think the food is everything here. Great customer service.

Keeps proving to be the worst place ever. If I could give it zero stars I would. I have given this place a few chances hoping I caught them on bad days but I refuse to spend anymore money there as now they are just robbing me. Today I ordered a pick up, online. Got a simple sandwich and added cheese and slaw. Both were missing. Ordered mac and cheese and onion Tanglers as my sides. Onion Tanglers were burnt to high hell and were inedible. Ordered pecan pie and it wasn't in the bag. 3 of my coworkers also ordered food online and none of us got our BBQ sauce. From a BBQ PLACE. I paid 15 for a sandwich and cold mac and cheese. Disgusting. Didn't get my dessert and I couldn't eat 1 of my sides so they basically stole half my money.

Had nothing but bad experiences so far. The first time I went in the food was dry and the condiment stand was really messy plus things were empty, the employees were rude and i sent an email about my experience. I wanted to give them a second chance since my first experience was days after the grand opening.

2nd time was even worse. I went in and politely told them about my first experience and stated i knew it was near grand opening so i understood. proceeded to get a pulled pork sandwich and the manager on duty with braids was really short with me and didn't seem like he wanted to be there. His replies to me were very aggressive and he really had no good customer service whatsoever. I got my sandwich and when i went to put bbq sauce on it i noticed there was a big blob of butter or something yellow on my cold bun and noticed it hadn't even been toasted. I immediately went back up and the guy that made the sandwich acted as he didn't know what was going on when i showed him the bun was not even toasted. He tried to play a game by saying 'oh thats not right your bun is supposed to be toasted' then looked at his toaster and told his manager it hasn't been working. His manager went up to the toaster and said 'it's not even turned on' the guy making sandwiches said 'sorry my toastet wasn't on, I'll bring you a bun out in about 5min to your table' i thought about it and just was confused as i suppose he expected me to wait 5min while the pulled pork went cold on my table and then i was supposed to transfer the meat from the cold bun to the toasted one myself. I just told him to forget about the bun since that was the case.

The right thing to do would've been to apologize and just take my sandwich back and brought out a fresh one with the bun toasted as it should've been but that apparently was too difficult. Manager was standing there the whole time but took no initiative to make it right. I explained to them that this was the 2nd time of a bad experience and i wasn't very happy. They really didn't care at all.

On my initial visit i emailed them and let them know about my experience with my meal. They offered me a lousy bbq sandwich even though i ordered alot more. At this point its best to just drive the extras 20 miles to the other dickeys and get quality service. I was excited at first about a new location opening near me and thought they'd want to make a good impression but i see now that's...

Honestly, pretty disappointed in the food from here. The mac and cheese had no flavor, the brisket was really chewy, like chewing bubblegum, really… unsatisfying. The ribs were small and rubbery, though some parts of meat on the bone were decent, while other parts of meat on the same bone were not (definitely the meat was not tender and juicy like pork ribs usually are when properly cooked). The cabbage slaw tasted… flavorless also and was too watery for my liking personally. The beans were… okay. And the brisket sandwich was… dry. The takeout sides were really small, a lot smaller than I expected. Let’s just say, the pictures of the food posted online on the menu… looks waaaaaaaay better and more appetizing (great marketing strategy) than what I received, and the actual food I received sadly tasted basic, bland and unsavory. Since I don’t have my own personal grill, I wanted barbecue for the 4th of July (of course lol). I don’t think I will ever eat at this restaurant again. Just too plain and mediocre. I should have really paid attention to the reviews, but I really wanted BBQ and the other restaurants that were rated highly, were closed or either weren’t delivering. Chain restaurants are typically a hit or miss. This was a miss for me. It wasn’t quite the taste I was craving, but for others, they may actually enjoy the food here. So everyone has their own personal tastes, it just fell flat for me personally and was too tasteless and basic. God I miss my mom’s home cooked barbecue. That woman can work a grill and get ribs to be so juicy and tender, season them up reeeeeeeal nice, and makes sides that are good and full of flavor, damn. Sweet home Alabama, mama I’m coming...
