Head West Sub Stop — Restaurant in Denver

This is acts ghosts kitchen - many different food/restaurant types not the sub shop advertised. From Starbucks to Asian to Indian to American. That was the 1st surprise. You type in your own selection from a digital board which includes all of these selections - a bit hard to navigate the payment process.

Orders 2 cheese burgers and a large fry and the bill was almost $40.

The staff that was there had no interest in customer service and seemed to be annoyed I was asking questions.

Wait time when ordering was 5 minutes and we were in a rush so went ahead and ordered. After payment we got a text stating it would be 10-15 mins to order pick up.

After 15 mins we check with another less friendly counter person - whose only job must be placing orders in lockers that then require your cell phone to open. - apparently being free from controlled substances is not a job requirement.

Any way after 15 mins the time changed to another 10 mins. After a 25 min wait inquired about what the issue was. No real excuse - just it wasn’t ready. Finally another employee showed up and canceled the order - received a text of the refund and went about the day with our lunch since we only had 1...

They delivered as part of Foodsby. It was my first Foodsby order and I was pleasantly surprised. The half sub (pastrami) looked small but turned out to be the right size. Don’t know if the pastrami or the sweet bread was the best, but I do know I liked the sandwich. Finished it up with an awesomely gooey triple chocolate chip cookie - great lunch dessert! The delivery was about 10 minutes early and was still warm when I ate it. I didn’t interact with the delivery person but I did learn from our building security that he really appreciates the care taken by all the actual restaurant employees that deliver the Foodsby orders vs all the other food...
