La Alma-Lincoln Park — Attraction in Denver

A nice spot for sure. There are basketball hoops, a little skate park, a baseball field, and tennis courts. The tennis courts aren't accessible though, the gate to them is locked. Plenty of tree cover (I like) and good open field.

Why I took off two stars -

The workout area is lacking. Whoever designed it has no idea how park workouts tend to go. They had an idea of what exercises people do but missed the mark in implementing equipment people will actually use. I think less is more in park fitness equipment and they went more and wasted dollars in the budget doing so. Giant fields and 2 areas with a playground Sadly the bigger play ground has ZERO PORTAPOTTIES. The smaller play ground is near the baseball field and portapotties. With a park as giant as this one 2 playgrounds sport field exercise equipment a swimming pool basketball courts YOU'D THINK THEY WOULD HAVE BATHROOMS ESPECIALLY NEAR THE CHILDRENS AREAS. Avoid this park if you plan to bring small children or dogs. There are open use needles scattered everywhere in the grass just yards away from the play ground.
