Grabbed a quick Empanada for an early morning flight. Maria Empanada happened to be near my gate. I really like authentic empanadas but these were not there. I prefer chicken versions but they didn’t have any for the day, so I tried a ‘breakfast’ version which did fill me up but not something I will order on my next flight through DIA. Price is around $6.25 each, so fairly expensive.

Wouldn't go here again. I came here despite the reviews because I love empamadas, but the Caprese was filled with burning hot liquid from the cheese that exploded when I bit it and spilled everywhere, not great for something handed to you in a paper bag. The Sierra was edible but didn't have a great texture and the pastry is kind of doughy and flavorless. Not worth the money. I'd pay like $3 for one, but...

A local chain, their empanadas in the airport are just about as good as their other locations, which makes for some of the best airport food you'll find.

They're expensive at about $6 a pop, and 2 or 3 would be a pretty standard serving, but that still puts them in line with everything else here ($15-20 for everything that isn't McDonald's as of...
