Blue Sky Bar — Restaurant in Denver

Posting a review because the dude was such a Karen! I have an overnight layover in the Denver airport and so what I’m sitting on the bar stool with my sandals kicked off, wearing socks, and he comes from behind the bar and gives me “there’s no shoes, no service” I’m not even walking around and he’s talking about glass being broken and Covid and this and that 🙄seriously, give me a break… maybe if I was walking around! He pretty much has his Karen hat on…. Oh Yeah, I get to be the one who tells people what to do and be bossy boss of others so good for him and all the other Karens out there that derive their self worth from having some sort of bossy boss status over others 🙄 I bet he thinks I owe him some gratitude for keeping me safe since made me keep my sandals on while I’m sitting at the bar

Read the other 1 stars and you’ll understand why this place is bad. I drink in different bars every day almost all day and my alcohol tolerance is hard to get.

This was the first bar who refuses to serve me another drink after my first one. Im also on medication that suppresses the alcohol effects so I need a good amount of drinks to even feel slightly buzzed. I was even told I can get drinks “one at a time” now I feel cheated and scammed when the male bartender refused to serve me another one.

Horrible … I was just at this airport asked the waiter for a recommendation.. he had a horrible attitude. Ordered a simple drink. He proceeded to walk away. I continued my conversation on the telephone, only to have the waiter return and say if I was going to have a horrible attitude he was not going to serve me. I asked the waiter what are you talking about. You don’t even know who or what I’m talking about. This waiter argued, refused to give his name. Refused to call a manager and refused to serve me.
