Have been waiting to try this gem of a restaurant for a while. Stopped by this past weekend and I’m so glad we did. If you’re craving comfort food wrapped in a golden, flaky crust, this is your spot.
From the moment you walk in you can smell the aroma of fresh-baked dough and seasoned fillings. The menu offers a great mix—classics like beef and chicken, sausage and vegetarian options as well. Each empanada is perfectly crisp on the outside and generously filled. We also tried the milanesa sandwich and it was flavorful and satisfying. They also offer salads and plates which we will have to come back to try.
You can pair any meal it with one of their house-made sauces. You have to try their chimichurri! It’s so perfectly balanced and tasty.
The staff is friendly and clearly passionate about the food they prepare. Marcelo, the owner, is very personable and makes you feel right at home. Prices are reasonable, and the quality is top-notch. We will...
Read moreThis place is fantastic. The food was perfect and the owner, Marcelo, is very friendly. The restaurant just opened about a week ago and I highly encourage you to check this place out if you're in the area. There is a large variety of empanadas to try, as well as other dishes like the Chivito Uruguayo sandwich which I highly recommend for the meat quality. There are also plenty of desserts and drinks, so you won't run out of things to try here quickly or in just a couple of visits. There are 2 new TVs for watching sports, a nice back patio with string lights and umbrellas if the weather isn't too hot, and parking in the lot is super easy. A great new restaurant in the area, highly...
Read moreOrejano is the kind of spot that makes you want to cancel your other dinner plans. The empanadas are incredible — we tried steak jalapeño, lamb, chorizo, spinach, ham & cheese, and blue cheese, and honestly, every single one was a hit. The crust is perfect, and the fillings are flavorful and creative.
We also loved the Milanesa de Carne Napolitana (breaded steak layered with ham, cheese, and fried egg) and the Chivito Orejano (a grilled steak sandwich stacked to the heavens). Dessert was just as impressive — the chajá cake with peaches, dulce de leche, and meringue was a standout.
Marcelo and the team bring Uruguayan roots and global flavors with so much heart. A must-visit on...
