Mariscos Los 3 Rios — Restaurant in Aurora

First of all I’d like to start by saying the young lady that served our food was very pleasant and professional. Let’s go in on the food. Chips and salsa was really marinara sauce and chips with large pieces of white onion. The chips were crispy and some had clusters of salt on it and some just didn’t have any salt at all. Oysters were large, tasted fresh however there was no cocktail sauce in sight. The aguachiles had no flavor and for some reason had a lot of water mixed in with the sauce, it was incredibly spicy but lacked the cilantro flavor I had to add table salt. We ordered a large fish platter, the fish was un seasoned and the Mexican rice was not Mexican ricing at all. The only food that didn’t disappoint was the flash frozen fries that hit the spot with some ketchup.

They were kind enough to give us desert on the house.

I visited Mariscos Los Tres Ríos and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Our waitress Sharis seemed inattentive. The waitress forgot our first order and there was confusion about splitting checks with other family members. It took an hour just to get our drinks and another hour to get our food. I understand it was busy but this was our first time visiting this restaurant and will be unfortunately the last. While the food was was here, my daughters steak was burned and cold. When everyone got their food they took forever and FORGOT my father in laws food. I asked to speak to the manager but she didn't bring them out. the delays and service issues really affected our visit. I hope the restaurant can improve their service for future customers. Went there on 9/23/23 place was easy to find atmosphere was chill got seated quick. Chips and salsa were brought to our table, chips were very stale salsa was ok. As we were ready to order it took about 20 min for any waitress to come over as all of them seemed to be on their phones which I consider unprofessional out in the dining area, Im guessing the manager noticed we were trying to get someone to come over to take our order so someone finally did Took a while to get our food the Hawaiian sushi i ordered was average compared to others Ive had my son did like the spaghetti off the kids menu, never got any more attention from the waitresses even after trying to wave them down for refills on the drinks.
