I ordered from the drive thru and it was loud and difficult to place the order. The cashier did everything that she could to get my order correct. Although, there were Minor problems, I think the overall experience was positive. I had to go into the store lobby to have my order adjusted. I waited longer for service than actually placing the initial order. Further, I think management could be a bit more supportive of staff to ensure they have everything they need to provide good customer service.
I'm actually grateful for the experience I had for several reasons.
2). I can bring awareness about what was positive and who made the experience a good one. I definitely appreciate the young lady who assisted me with my order and I'm glad my overall experience was positive.
My rating: B-
Reasoning:
My mother order some food made a transaction it turn out to be insufficient on her card. I asked the cashier if she get a manager to void the transaction so I can pay for her meal. The cashier went straight to the manager in the black and asked her. They both told looked at us and the cashier told us it was nothing we could do unless we paid the original amount which was 56.01 and it was incorrect. The customer service was horrible. What is the point of a manager being on sight if she allowing her staff to speak for her. I came trying to be the desolation for my mother but I felt like the staff just blew us off because we were black and there Mexican. The manager never one time addressed us on this matter also to defuse the situation she allowed her staff to speak for her. This location at night is a lot something needs to be done . This situation happened tonight and to protect customers I will randomly stop by to and rate customer service as and record randomly to show the world how this location show pride in their work. These people tonight made my favorite place the worst place within seconds. Sorry Popeyes but customer service needs a...
Read moreIt is essentially a pre-requisite to have a basic grasp of Spanish to order, and even then you might have to check up on any minor additions like jalapeños. The chicken was well below usual Popeye's standards for the price, the oil had not been changed recently, and resulted in a dark fry, burnt taste. The pieces themselves were unusually prepared in a way that I have not seen at other Popeye's locations. It was also unusual after paying and dining in to be required to fill out a survey to use the restrooms. I assume this is because of the drug users who frequent this location, there was a woman sleeping on the curb. Several drug deals in the open and users in and out during my meal dining in. It's certainly not a family establishment, and in a state of disarray. I understand the surrounding area is not the best, but in comparison to similar Popeye's locations in Houston or New Orleans, I've never come across as much. I love Popeye's and am from the South, it would have been nice to have had a taste of home so far from it, but this is not it. For the price, one can do and should...
