As a Southerner I love to try different BBQ joints I come across. Being in Colorado it is hard to find authentic bbq. First off the staff is very welcoming and hospitable. I think the younger guy said they are from Arkansas or something.

Prices seemed high but you really get a lot of food with it so I think it is worth it (and that is a lot coming from me bc I am very cheap)!

The meat is very tender and juicy though I felt the pork lacked hard hitting flavors, the slaw and bbq sauce all tasted good and went better together with the pork.

The cornbread is made in house by the nice woman, but it was a bit dry and had an odd flavor profile behind it. I did enjoy that she doesn’t make it super sweet though. I enjoyed the side of beans, they don’t put brisket in it which some might see as a miss but I enjoyed it as someone who can’t eat red meat. They use green chiles for a little flavor and kick. I enjoy them. (I will say, I made it to the bottom and there were little pork bits in it)

Not sure if the sweet tea is house brewed and sweetened but I also thought it was done just right.

I had them surprised me for tthe desert and got the red velvet cookie, it is definitely different but not terrible, I don’t think I would order it again if getting a desert, but there were two customers who came in specifically for that cookie so it must be a crowd favorite. I feel like chocolate chunks could elevate it a little.

I give this place an overall 3.75/5, I would come back at some point, but it isn’t at the...

I have been eating Ragin' HHog since I found them a couple of years back. Honestly, it is the best BBQ there is in the area. I generally have the sandwich combo. It is a meat. And bun with a drink, 2 sides and a dessert. Many times I just do 3 sides instead of the desert as they are so good. The pulled pork is amazing. Really, I don't want anyone else's since I have been here. Brisket is also amazing. Baked beans and Mac and cheese are perfect every time. The cornbread is just like you might remember from being in a Midwest BBQ diner. It's in a small spot and I can't believe I didn't know they were there for 8 years of living here.. But now it is a go to place for clients and vendors for me (covid only allows for the outdoor porch seating but you can sit there). This is my favorite BBQ spot and I could eat it every day. The owner and staff are amazing also. I have never exchanged names, but I am always noticed. Go there! You will not regret it. With Covid please support your local small businesses also. I will be super depressed if this place...

I kind of hate leaving this review, but it feels necessary given the experience I had and how far off it seems to the prevailing opinions here.

I stopped in around 3 PM and ordered burnt ends with a side of Mac and baked beans.

The people in the restaurant were kind and welcoming, the ambiance is definitely in line with what I'd expect at a no-frills BBQ joint, and the baked beans were sincerely delicious.

Unfortunately, the burnt ends were bland and very dry/tough, and the Mac and cheese was similarly disappointing.

I'm not sure if I had a bad experience due to the day of the week or time of day, or if most of the reviewers here just haven't had much genuinely good BBQ, but this fell well short of my expectations based on the restaurant's rating.

Especially disappointed because this is very close to my new home and it would have been wonderful to have a good BBQ spot around the corner, but I just can't...

Sign me up as yet another fan of this BBQ joint. This place was noticably small, so clearly it was meant for a goblin such as myself to enjoy it. The place does look pricey, but once you get your food, you will notice this stuff is all well worth the price. You get quite the plate when it comes rolling out. Every order has sides and a dessert (or an additional side if you're shameless), so you get yourself stocked full pretty well. I do recommend the custard pie, it's sinfully delicious. Even with the small room to sit (they literally have like 5 tables in the joint), the service is still quick and quite friendly. The meats are smoky and delicious, too. The pork was so soft, with crispy bits. They do rely on you to sauce your own meats, and they make their own selection, too. So get saucy.

The wife typed in "best bbq in Denver" and this place popped up. This small locally owned BBQ joint did not disappoint. I was in food coma by the end of the meal. We tried many items from the menu and every bit of it left us wanting more. From the plate full of good sized meaty ribs, to the stuffed pulled pork sandwich, and all the sides. We were in heaven. The meats were juicy and the light seasoning on the meat allowed the flavors of the meat to shine by themselves. They also had a variety of different sauces that transported you to other regions of the country. My wife talked me into trying the Brunswick stew. After I tasted it I couldn't get enough of it. One caveat. Don't wait till the last hour before closing as they start to run out of main dishes so they have less wasted food.
