I honestly don't even think that this taco bell even deserves a 1 star review. Tonight when i was working my last shift with Grubhub after working 12hrs plus today of course i had to come to this place which was a huge disaster!!!!! I specifically maintained my usual routine of course asking if they had a order ready for the customer and they responded back by saying they did not receive the order. Ok. That was completely understood on my end bcuz i have common sense to know that technology does not always work the way it is supposed too. In other words, technology is not 100% guaranteed truthfully speaking. So when i asked one SIMPLE HIGH SCHOOL QUESTION, not only did neither customer representative understood what it was that i was ASKING. Even their supposedly manager Theresa Lucero did not understand the question which was so simplistic. They all kept going around the question and what was so funny š when i asked them b4 i pulled off what was it that i was asking? Just to test their knowledge of understanding, none of them and i mean neither one of them could answer correctly not even the manager. š. That shows u that this is a world of privilege. The manager including the other representative was so bluntly rude to me to where they started using unprofessional language meaning cussing at me ( Theresa Lucero), huffing and puffing while being held back by the other representative because she had intentions on wanting to fight me PHYSICALLY, the male representative asked me to leave out of their parking lot, they refused to resolve the issue in a professional manner. And when i tried to present proof to them regarding my question, trying to actually show them what it was that i was referring to they refused to review the documentation and rudely told me to leave once again. So i did report the individuals unprofessionalism and this company to grubhub which Grubhub managed to report the issue to their HR. So hopefully after tonight they learn the scopes of professionalism to the next grubhub driver. And for those of you that are wondering my question was " If the customer order did not show up in their system, then how was the customer order marked in their system as READY TO BE PICKED UP?" And none of them could answer this basic question. Instead the manager tried to go around the question or maybe it was her lack of understanding by simply explaining the process to me about how orders appeared in their system from grubhub which had nothing to do with the question itself at all. Because what many workers at all resturants don't quite understand is that the Grubhub company has the capability to convert the order and the information of the customer into any company system that they are contracted with. However, grubhub does not have the capability to mark a order as completed for any order at any resturant because they don't know nor have the knowledge to know when a company completes making a customer order. Only the company/ resturant has the capability to mark " COMPLETED" once the order is fully prepared. Grubhub has no capability at all to mark a order as being COMPLETED. They only have the capability to input in the customer order along with the customer personal info such as their first name last name etc...... And this was basic information that neither of the taco bell representatives understood not even their manager. And it was so funny because when i went back through their drive thru for the 3rd final time to ask for the manager name while being on the phone with Grubhub while reporting this incident, they then said that the order all of a sudden came up in their system for the customer........ ?????? AND THE STAFF THAT WAS RUDE WAS THE STAFF THAT WORKED ON 1/22/19 @ 11PM. THE SO CALLED MANAGER WAS THERESA LUCERO SUPPOSEDLY. SHE WAS A SKINNY MEXICAN FEMALE WITH TATTOOS ON HER NECK AND FACE I BELIEVE AND THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT WAS RUDE THAT ASKED ME TO LEAVE THEIR PARKING LOT WAS A GAY MEXICAN MALE. Nevertheless it was the night shift working on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the worst Taco Bell location ever. I was so excited when it opened because it was near my home and I didn't have to drive to the one on Federal, because the Federal location is a farther drive. The last three times I was at this location, they were "out" of black beans. I asked how long it would take to make more and they said 30 minutes. I obviously was not going to wait 30 minutes for a fast food order. They also have no indoor seating, so dining in and waiting longer for the food was not an option. I explained that this was my third time trying to order black beans at this location and they always are "out" and asked if they ever have black beans. After a long pause, the woman just said "we're out." No apology at all for the inconvenience and no explanation how they could be "out" 3/3 times I've tried to order them from here. The black beans offer a healthier option than refried, are vegan, and double the number of options for people wanting to order meatless food. But this location is either too lazy or cheap to ever prepare black beans.
The drive-thru is also in an awful location. Most people turn into the drive-thru from 38th Ave. and if there are more than two cars in line, the remaining cars are always sticking out into the street. This usually causes drivers driving by and people waiting in line to honk to try to get the line moving along. Again, no dine-in option and when the weather is cold, people prefer not to get out of their cars to stand at a window to place an order. I would not recommend this location to anyone wanting black beans, a dine-in option, or if you are on a road trip and need to use the restroom (I don't believe there is one for customers).
Also, the only time I came here for breakfast, they forgot pico on my fiesta potato grilled breakfast burrito, so it was literally just tortilla, egg, potato, and cheese. The menu online and the picture on the menu shows that pico should be on the burrito. My husband got a similar burrito and they put pico on his...It was an annoying error and I tried to call to let them know about their mistake and they didn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am torn how to rate this place. I would rate the young man that was working that night 5 Stars 6 stars if I could. His name was Ari . I was in the drive up approximately 35 minutes there were cars out the parking lot and backed up on 38th street(in the slow lane, Accident waiting to happen) Anyhow when it was my turn a young man came over the speaker and said I am here by myself I will take your order 1 car 1 order. He was a very apologetic and very polite, he did not accept tips from any of the customers that were offering them to him . I asked " are you the manager?" he said " no I'm not even a shift lead on the bottom of the totem Pole." I said "well why are you opened I would close the store." He said "well they need to make a profit." I don't know the circumstances around in which this young man was by himself on a Saturday night but I do know, that a manager ( who usually is salary) or a shift lead, should have been there and if they can't be bothered to go into work when it's their store and they get paid to do so Then you shouldn't make your employee go in. The manager of this store put this employee in a very unsafe environment 1st of all he was alone at a store handling money and by himself I'm sure there is a policy that you are not supposed to have one person on shift at night. And if there isn't there needs to be. 2nd people were mad people And weren't aware of the situation that was happening. It is not the best in neighborhood and people were upset. how dare you put one of your employees in that kind of situation. Maybe like Burger King you should be on 9 newsAnd see what kind of attention that brings to your store. And you management...
