UPDATE Aug 2022: I checked the online menu I see an avocado toast advertised with egg. I go to Grubhub and the same menu item requires you to add avocado to the AVOCADO toast for an extra $2, plus egg for an extra $2. But if you order directly through their site or in person, you don't get charged the extra $4 to get the advertised ingredients?
Just when I was willing to give this place another chance, they have confusing, misleading info and now I am feeling like it would be a waste of time.
A very nice little business, I like the ambiance an atmosphere inside even though there's no dining in.
Considering this is only my first visit I might give them another chance but if the chef/cook makes everything with the same attention to detail you made my breakfast sandwich, then I won't waste my time.
I ordered the basic breakfast sandwich which was very large and a good value. Points were taken away because whoever prepared it either doesn't care or doesn't know how to cook very well. Namely, the ham was stacked unevenly and very thick, and as a result was burnt on the outside and cold on the inside. The cheese in the eggs was all up together in one spot and not spread throughout so you got two bites that were almost all cheese but there was no other cheese in the rest of the sandwich.
Simple details like that indicate whether somebody even knows how to cook or not. if they do, then they clearly don't care about the product that they're delivering or the customers that they're delivering the product to. Again, it could have just been a bad day but if it's not a consistent place to go then that's another...
Read moreThe sandwiches are pretty good but the arrogance to think that you need to reinvent the worlds favorite sandwiches is honestly astounding.
Especially the muffaletta and the reuben. Nobody ever ate a great rueben and said "all this needs is for tessa to use weird purple cabbage instead of regular sauerkraut, slather mustard all over it and add pickles. THATS NOT A REUBEN WHY WOULD YOU CALL IT THAT. And the muffaletta- half as thick as it should be. Dude just google "muffaletta". Why is yours so pathetic compared to every picture on the internet? Cheaping out to save money on a $16 sandwich?
Honestly the sandwiches are good but the arrogance behind changing them so much that they arent even what you call them is just wild.
Response: I have no doubt the sandwiches are made with love but look when you put mustard and pickles and cabbage on a sandwich and then put it on your menu as a Reuben it's just a lie. People know what to expect when they order a Ruben or muffaletta, and that's not what you give them.
The arrogance comes in when you think adding pickles and mustard to a Reuben makes it better. It doesn't, it makes it...
Read moreStopped in here and got some lunch in between jobs when I was working in the area. I got the pesto chicken sandwich. It was delicious.
Worth noting to anyone who might get this sandwich that at least in my case there was not very much chicken on the sandwich. Maybe around 4 oz which is not even a full chicken breast. There were multiple times where I got a mouth full of sandwich that had just bread and arugula.
Now I was happy with that because I was looking for a lighter option rather than a greasy burger or something but I just figured I'd point that out. It was very very good. I did not eat in the restaurant but the experience that I had with the staff and the wait time for the food was all good. Would definitely eat here again and maybe try some of their other stuff too.
Price is a little bit steep for a sandwich with not very much chicken, but frankly it's on par with what you're going to find in the Denver area, so that's not a real...
