Title: Very Disappointing Experience — Poor Service, No Accountability
I took my family to Walter’s 303 Pizzeria & Publik House in Lowry last night, and unfortunately, our experience was one of the worst I’ve had dining out in recent memory.
We sat in the bar area and were initially greeted by Kristen, the bartender. She took our drink and food orders for our party of four. My youngest ordered lasagna, my oldest ordered wings, my wife had a chicken wrap, and when it came to me, I said, “I’ll have exactly what he’s having,” referring to my oldest son’s wings.
After placing our order, we were passed off to our server, Syndia (“Syn”), who was cold, unfriendly, and never made eye contact. Her communication was short and unwelcoming from the start.
When our food came out, it was delivered by Ken, the general manager. Only three meals arrived. Ken asked what I had ordered, and I repeated, “Exactly what he’s having,” pointing to my son’s wings. Without any acknowledgment, Ken simply walked away — and we never saw him again.
Several minutes later, Syn came by and explained that Kristen had only entered one order of wings, subtly implying it was my fault and taking zero responsibility for the mistake. She told me my order would be out soon. By the time my wings arrived — scalding hot, overcooked, dry, and inedible — everyone else at the table had finished eating.
There was no apology, no attempt to make the situation right, and no sign of care from Ken, Kristen, or Syn. At the end of the meal, Syn said she had “taken a little off the bill” for the inconvenience, but again — no acknowledgment of the poor service.
Ironically, the only person who seemed to care was Cristian, the kitchen manager. As we were leaving, he stopped to hear what happened, was genuinely appalled, and offered to help, but by then we had already paid and were on our way out.
From start to finish, the service was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. Ownership should seriously evaluate the quality of their staff, starting with management. Cristian was the only bright spot in an otherwise miserable dining experience. We will not...

Moved not far from here, and have several years serving experience, worked foh/delivery at Hells Kitchen in Manitou, worked 2 different Pizza Hut Stores, cooked apps in fine dining Italian at Aroma Osteria in Wappingers Falls NY, worked Flyteco most recently in my cooking experience on top of working at Debus Gluten Free bakery for half a year. Needless to say, I have that experience and then some. It smelled good, which is what initially got me into this location before the Chop Shop food place next to you. It took a guy wearing an athletic jersey about a minute to acknowledge the guy in front of me. I then asked if they might be seeking any help. He didn't seem to be well informed on this, or know what this restaurant was in search for as far as employment status, but pointed to a picture of the plaque displaying the qr code leading to your application page, where it appears your location is hiring for almost every position. Read moreVisited yesterday evening with my family. As I entered the patio to join my family, an employee named KEN quite rudely let me know that "the entrance is at the front door". I told him that I was just meeting my parents and daughter on the patio and he looked at me as though I was scum. So, I followed his orders and went around the front to walk to the patio. Visibly upset, another employee asked me if everything was OK, and I told her what happened. This is where I found out that KEN is actually a MANAGER, and there was nobody else in the building that would hold him accountable. I was appalled and saddened hat a manager had the audacity to treat paying customers so rudely (our bill is consistently $75+, which is fine!). It's unfortunate because we are regulars and every other employee at this location has been nothing but wonderful and kind, and we love the food. I don't know if KEN treated me poorly because i'm a black person or if he treats all people poorly but he is disrespectful, rude, unkind person and I hope that he doesn't continue to get...
