Drove thru at 6:15 on Fri night. Line was backed up to the street and wrapped around the building. We were in line for 45 min. Line for inside orders was coming out of the building. They had multiple security (why were they armed?) staffed outside to keep the traffic flowing. Staff seemed friendly, busy and helpful. I ordered 3 pieces with cole slaw. My bf got sandwich meal. My son got 4 pieces. We all loved the chicken. I don't know why people are saying it's not crispy. I guess people are used to very thickly coated chicken so it has a thick, hard shell. This is how restaurants get away with giving you very little chicken. Cane's chicken is plump, juicy, white meat that is lightly breaded. I thought it was perfect. Also, the Texas toast is not garlic bread. It is only lightly seasoned. Again, I thought it was very good. The fries are not crispy, but they have a nice flavor. Again, not overly salty. If you are a big salt person, you should ask for a packet on the side. We all liked the Cane's sauce. The complaints that the food is under seasoned... I think people are used to processed food that is too salty and overly seasoned. This is more like you would make at home. We received our food fresh and hot, which makes sense because it was so busy. The only thing I don't like, is that we had to eat sitting in the car, unless we wanted to wait until we got home. We sat in the Target parking lot. We would definitely go back. The food was bangin'. The price was $36 for...
Read moreI’ve been to this place at least 5 times. Every time I went it was a good experience that is until this last time I visited! Not only was I yelled at by the girl who was in charge of drinks but they screwed up my order! I asked for the sandwich combo with the sauce on the side instead of on the sandwich, that didn’t happen and I paid for an extra finger and they never gave it to me. Now for the yelling! I was very pleasant the whole time despite wanting to jump through that damn window to set that stupid girl straight! I had asked for two drinks with light ice not half way full of ice so when I extended my arms out of my window to get the young girls attention the girl that was doing the drinks quickly opens the window and yells “we can’t take anything back through the window!” I was taken back by it because I didn’t even get a chance to speak she just starts yelling! I then told the other girl if I could get new ones and that’s when they decided to have their separate conversation about the issue! But you know what! Cane’s lost a customer here! Good customer service is the one thing that keeps me coming back if it’s not happening, I’m not...
Read moreI finally tried Cane’s for the first time and I have to say I’m “whelmed” - neither over nor under.
The layout of the restaurant is bizarre, in that there is insufficient room for guests to queue up to order. What kept happening while I dined was new customers spilled into the dining area because the long bank of high-top tables in the middle are too close to the registers.
The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, although the amount of fries you get leaves something to be desired.
The chicken tenders have a good flavor, but they’re VERY greasy, and their thickness gave me pause because at times they felt chewy and slightly undercooked.
Finally, I find it ridiculous you have to pay for refills of lemonade when every other soft drink (including the fresh-brewed unsweetened and sweet teas) are free.
To put it succinctly: I’m not raising any thumbs up for Raising Cane’s. I’ll wait for Chick-Fila to...
