This is one of the best Vietnamese food I've ever had. I eat Vietnamese food everywhere I travel to. I eat a lot of Vietnamese food in New York City and I have my favorites as you can see in my reviews. This place is the best I've ever had outside of New York City. We were two families and seven of us. They accommodated us and put us in the corner with our crazy kids. I ordered the spicy beef noodle Pho and the grilled barbecue short rib with rice. It was so amazing. Yea I had both. The soup is enough to fill you up but I had to try the short rib. It's so worth to over eat here. The rest of the people in my party ordered the spring rolls, summer rolls, shrimp fried rice, shrimp Pho, regular Beef Pho. Two people in my party wanted a particular wine which he did not carry, the owner was nice enough to go next-door to the liquor store and get us the wine that we wanted. Oh and this is the most important, they have THE BEST THAI ICE TEA there and it's not on the menu it's a secret for the people that are there regularly. I travel everywhere trying to find the best Thai ice tea. It's a must must have. I even took one to go so I could have it the next day. My god it was so good. I told the owner to put it in on the menu because people are missing out. Hope he listens. I met the owner and he told me that his wife is the chef. So it's a family run business and has authentic home cooked meal. I wished I lived next-door to this restaurant. I would eat here every day. I don't think I have recommended any other restaurant this highly. Everything was perfect there. Very very clean especially the bathrooms (you know that's super important). I hope this review helps you with your experience at this place. They're only a year old so I hope they stick around for a long time so when I'm traveling through this area I'll eat there every time. I posted this on Yelp also. People need to know about this place. Oh and the prices...
Read moreUsed to be my favorite place to get pho, but not anymore. This place has become significantly worse over time. I’ve been going here since it first opened, it was incredible, now I don’t plan to come back. I order the same meal every time I go here, but the most recent time it was cold which didn’t allow the meat to properly cook giving it a raw and undercooked taste. I remember loving this place because every time I would eat their pho, I’d leave with my tongue burning cause it was so hot adding to the flavor, not anymore. Some of the workers struggle to speak English, our waitress hardly understood what we were saying and it was incredibly difficult to get her to come back to attend to us after she dropped off the food. I saw her sit down and eating food with a coworker, which understandable, we all deserve to eat, but it then becomes frustrating when our waitress has their back to us and we are sitting and waiting for the check and she does not turn her back once. It comes to the point where we have to get up and approach her so that we could get our check to leave. I used to look forward to coming to this place, I don’t intend to be coming...
Read moreWe recently dined at Phoenix Vietnamese Cuisine and came away thoroughly impressed. Although the ambiance didn't quite capture the essence of Vietnam, the authentic flavors and exceptional service brought the country to life for us. The staff were welcoming and helpfully suggested vegetarian alterations for certain dishes. The standout was undeniably the food. Their summer rolls were top-notch, complemented perfectly by a tantalizing sauce. The Egg Roll Noodles (Bun Cha Gio) presented a perfect blend of egg rolls, veggies, peanuts, and rice noodles – genuinely authentic and served in generous portions. The Combo (Bun dac biet, tom, thit nuong, cha gio) was not only a feast for the eyes but also a delight for the palate. Altogether, a...
