We dined in and take out here a few times. Food is quite good overall but their banh mi had only 3 thin and small slices of ham and they charged $11?!! That’s a total rip off! Do better! Also, they seemed to like white people and extra courteous to them and not to their own kind. With the whites, that woman working there will be saying thank you and apologize for forgetting something they requested. For their own kind, she will be like okay, it’s coming, the other guy making, and when we said thank you she just went silent. No apologies nothing! So stupid for you to discriminate your own kind! They also get distracted easily without finishing what they were supposed to do. Made drinks half way and went to serve other customers then went back and completed the drinks. Took forever! Finish what you are doing first then move on to something else. That’s why you forget our order and you were displeased that we ask for our order? But then the same white person also asked for his order because you were too distracted and forgotten, but you apologize profusely but not to...
Read moreWent here for the first time after hearing friends rave about it, and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the pho and the bún bò Hue, and I was absolutely delighted by the broths-they were rich, flavorful, and authentic. Even my parents, who are usually very critical when it comes to Vietnamese food not tasting "just right," gave their approval. The portions were just right—not too big, not too small-and the prices were very reasonable. Everyone talks about their bánh mì, so we ordered one to go since we were already full. I also really liked that the menu isn't overly complicated; they keep it focused, which means the dishes they do serve are done really well.
Service was excellent. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't too busy, but by the time we left, it was a full house. Despite that, the staff kept up with both dine-in and takeout orders smoothly. Overall, this is a fantastic spot in Connecticut for authentic Vietnamese food—nice to know I don't have to trek into NYC to get the real deal....
Read morePleasantly surprised after they took over from previous owners. I found their pho broth to be full of flavor and their pho menu offers a large variety of different types of pho depending on what your in the mood for. I also enjoyed their pork Bahn mi sandwiches, fresh eggrolls, and shrimp eggrolls ,all very delicious, they really do deserve their 4.9 rating. Im glad they are close to home and offer delivery services . I Cant wait to try more menu items next time . They also take the extra time to package their takeout food neatly which goes to show they take pride in the presentation of their food you don't find that often with some...
